જ⁀➴ in which.. you’re at an amusement park with your friends who suddenly don’t wanna go on any rides with you, leaving you alone on the scariest ride. who would guess that you’d get sick and the annoyingly loud guy you’d noticed in the line would be the one to help you out. and eventually find that he’s lowkey in love with you.

you sit on the ride and fasten your seatbelt, as the safety restraints lower onto you. your arm is pressing against his. the guy apart of that group of guys who’d cut you and been obnoxiously loud. keonho, you heard them call him. great, a stupid name for a stupid guy. upon getting on the ride you tried to not make eye contact with him or even acknowledge him but it was pretty hard considering he had such a.. pretty face.

the roller coaster begins and immediately starts going uphill, the adrenaline building in your stomach. your legs were hanging off the coaster and your hands gripping the seat restraints. as soon as the ride drops the guy beside you is screaming your ears off. blood curdling screams are coming out of his mouth that you’d never expect from a face like his. it’s fun at first, you’re screaming too but not as loud as him of course. until you feel a huugeee wave of nausea hit you. it’s so much that you can’t even enjoy the ride at all anymore, your screams come to a stop and the ride twists and turns every which way. felt like it went on for hours so you shut your eyes.

the ride slows down and comes to a stop. as soon as the restraints lift, you unbuckle your seatbelt and stumble off the ride, although the staff advised everyone to stay seated. keonho looks up, his smile fading after seeing you get off so quickly. why was he so worried?

you sat down on the sidewalk trying to compose yourself. your head was spinning and your stomach burning. you should’ve texted your gc that you were ready to leave but you couldn’t be bothered with how much pain you were in. besides, louis would never let you live this down. good thing you were right beside a trash can because you’d barf at any second.

you’re clutching your stomach in pain, focused on the floor when you see a pair of feet in front of you. your eyes naturally trail up and you realize who it is. keonho, but he’s holding a plastic water bottle out to you. you take it and take a few sips before realizing how awkward this is. you haven’t even said thank you and now he’s sitting beside you on the sidewalk. why was he being so nice? he was a stranger anyway.

he clears his throat, getting your attention. “i’m sorry about earlier.”

“huh? it’s fine. thank you for this,” you reply, despite feeling so sick a smile threatened to form on your face. you suddenly didn’t feel so bad.

“it’s nothing. i couldn’t just not help.” he added.

“you’re keonho right? sorry not to sound like a stalker i just.. heard your friends calling you that.”

“ohhh so you were eavesdropping.” keonho teased. “then i’d like to know your name too,”

“as if i’d want to eavesdrop on you. i just overheard. but i’m yn.” you respond, feeling weak in the knees, but it wasn’t from the nausea you were feeling. suddenly you see kya and louis looking around for you near the roller coaster.

“oh,” you begin, gathering your stuff. “i have to go, thanks keonho.” he waves in response, looking like he wanted to say something. to stop you and ask for your number. to say literally anything else to you. but you were gone before he knew it, and now his peace was ruined by martin and sean.

“yo keonho what’re you doing over here?” yelled martin as he and seonghyeon ran up to where keonho was sitting.

you walk into the bar, arms linked with yunah while taesan is engrossed in his phone. yunah nudges taesan in an attempt to get his attention.

“aren’t those the guys we were gonna meet up with?” she asks and beckoned to the direction yushi, riku, and sion were. taesan glances up, and nods.

“yeah, let’s go.” you all end up sitting at a table with them. you were scared shitless. why was sion even here?? it was beyond awkward, yushi clearing his throat once he noticed how HEAVY the air felt all of a sudden. there’s another guy there too, riku. he was sitting beside sion giving you an apologetic glance for what was about to happen.

what was supposed to just be a group of friends having a relaxed night of fun turned into something muchhhhh worse. sion and taesan were arguing at this point. since sion had shit to say on twt taesan was quick to confront him …..

“maybe yn can’t keep your name out of her mouth because of all the shit you’ve done. is that ridiculous to say? you’re leaving out the part where you fucking cheated.” he starts and you stand up, about to stop him, but you can’t bring yourself to say anything. neither can sion, because he knows taesan is right in every single way. so he starts spewing excuses.

“it was two years ago, for fucks sake. you’re still salty about it, but can’t a guy change?”

taesan scoffs in response, as if he’s in complete disbelief that he had the audacity to say something like that.

“it doesn’t change the fact that you hurt yn. it doesn’t change the fact that you went two whole years without giving a mere apology. explain to me how you changed but can’t even be a fucking man and apologize to her?” after this it’s silent. sion clenches his fists and before his hand raises to hit taesan, riku grabs his arm. for some reason. they’re friends, so riku should’ve been on his side, but he wasn’t.

everyone was so distracted by their discourse that they didn’t realize that you were gone… except for riku, who disappeared soon after.
