--back from the undead;;

all right, guys, here's the thing--i've been thinking about it and i'm gonna go ahead and make all my blogs on separate accounts. i like sideblogs--they're easier to keep track of--but i just like the feel of having separate blogs more. that and i'd like to just stick with following people that want to rp with me.

i finished up my sansa blog. if anyone still wants to follow her, feel free!

i'll probably remake my joanna blog, if only because it feels really cluttered.

Regardless of the charitable face Hannibal Lecter put on for Baltimore’s high society, the countess despised the charity events that were held in the museum across the street from her home. The operas and art shows were nice but the people there were absolutely revolting. Rich, brainless somebodies with too much time of their hands fighting to save children in Africa. She couldn’t count how many times she herself was approached with fake smiles and pity-filled glances as her “peers” cooed over nameless Black children. Hannibal would tell them, always through gritted teeth, that she was from Lithuania; she’s never been to any African countries. At that they’d nod and smile and walk away twittering about the “aggressive” Black millionaire. Hannibal shuddered at the thought of a minute with them, never mind an entire evening.

The countess, however, decided to put aside her disgust for the evening. One of her favorite artists was putting on a show and Hannibal figured the situation had to be taken advantage of. She stood before the museum, covered in a light silk sweater to protect her from the summer evening chill. The countess went alone that night, preferring to navigate the toxic field alone. Stepping into the gallery, Hannibal rid herself of the cloak and roamed freely. She took a glass of wine for herself and nibbled a few amuse bouches before settling in front of a large reproduction of ‘Leda and the Swan.’ She tilted her head, examining the swan’s sleek sensuality and the woman’s vibrantly pink sex. Hannibal rather liked this version. Too many reproductions of the scene were bland and simple, but this one? This one had some real passion to the fucking.

 Hannibal took a heavy swig of her wine as she glanced to the right of her. "Savage isn’t it? How sex is portrayed in art?" She swirled the glass. "How women are portrayed in art?"

This was as much of a battlefield as it was a charity event. Snide remarks were made among supposed friends. Whispers and gossip poisoned the air and made the atmosphere feel thick and heavy. ❝ At least she isn't bland looking--if I see another rendition with a boring color scheme and composition all of my hair will turn grey at once.  I will die from boredom. A tragedy. ❞ 

Joanna glanced down, nose wrinkling when she found her glass empty. Who do I have to fuck to get a drink around here? ❝ Who do I have to sing sweet nothings to this time--I do believe my glass is empty. ❞  A server filled her glass shortly after her remark. She thanked the boy and chuckled when he stumbled over his words.

❝ Cute little baby, that one. His cheeks were as pink as Leda's unmentionables. ❞

  He smiled, even if it was a bitter smile, the one that appeared on his face. He hadn’t given such a thing as a real smile since… well, since the fight. The one fight too much, that took all the light from his life - literally. 

The pain actually did become worst - the milk of the poppy was fading away, leaving his mind less dizzy but also allowing the pain to creep into his body. He breathed deeply, trying to push away the pain, but he knew that it would not go away until he would have his revenge. 

A bitter laugh, though weak, filled the silence after her words. "The wife of the man who killed my sister… fighting to avenge her. Gods have a wicked sense of humor." Yes, Gods did play stupid jokes - most of the time, actually. Blindly, his hand tried to reach towards her face, careful in order not to hurt her. "You may end up just like her." He didn’t want her to.

❝ I know not of if he gave orders to kill your sister, though I suspect he did many foolish things after I died. ❞ They say that he may have ruled the kingdoms, yet I ruled him. There was much truth in that, though no one ever said it to his face. ❝ Rhaella would have wanted her to be avenged--to be remembered as the beautiful and witty woman she was. ❞

It wasn't just herself that Joanna thought of--Rhaella, her sweet friend that was forced to endure far too much. His hand landed along her jawline, though the touch surprised her--his words more so. ❝ Lannisters, ironically, have a tendency to repay their debts. ❞ Not only was she indebted to him, she was indebted to the gods. It would be wasteful--to not aid the man that defended her son.

❝ I am far more capable than most would think. ❞ She placed her hand atop of his. ❝ You have a gentle heart beneath it all, my Lord. ❞

  He did not want her false promises. He wanted the truth - as harsh as it could be, as painful as it would get, he would still want only the truth from her. Falseness was never something the Prince could be considered fond of, in all honesty. 

He hissed at her, his head resting on the pillows behind him - designed appositely to let him rest and gain his strength back. His hiss was more of pain than of rage, but it soothed as he felt her fingers running through his hair. It was nice, to have some form of contact - as strange as it was. He was never a lonely person. "The worst is… I won’t be able to look at the light leaving his eyes." He sighed, his voice low with pain. The milk of the poppy was letting go of its grasp, but this meant that the pain was returning. "Will you describe it to me?" He asked her - a way to ask her to be there, when he was going to take revenge for his sister.

❝ Of course. ❞ She agreed without a moment's hesitation. In life she had not resented Gregor Clegane, but when hearing of the horrors he'd committed--no matter how loyal--she refused to accept it. His younger brother was more a knight than he ever would have been.

Joanna continued to stroke his hair. The pain seemed to have worsened, for he'd lost much of the aggression toward her as their conversation went on. ❝ If-- ❞ She paused, annoyed at how there was a tremor in her voice. So much for him not knowing of her grief. ❝ If there ever comes a time when you are in need of a champion, I would like to return the favor. ❞

  The circumstances, however, lacked - since he had lost his eyesight, he could not fight anymore. Not now, at least. Maybe in time, maybe with days spent in the yard - getting used to the darkness, and learning to fight it alone. 

He did not see her tears - could not - but imagined the pained look she was giving him right now. "I know." Was the only thing he could say - cause what else could he say, to a woman in that state? To a mother… he didn’t know what to say.

He hissed when she asked him to get back to resting - he didn’t want to. He was not going to let that beast of Gregor Clegane live, even with another name. "I can’t let him live, Joanna." He hissed, pain in his voice - but mostly, there was anger as he spoke about the man who had killed his sister. His strengths however left him, and his head started spinning just by raising in a sitting position.

❝ I did not say that you should-- ❞ She wanted to hold him, to tell him that things would be okay, but she knew they weren't. False promises were almost as bad as lies. 

❝ But you are in no state to fight. I doubt your sister would want you to so willingly throw your life away. ❞ She ran a hand through his hair, careful to not jostle the bandages. ❝ Regain your strength before you run him through--lest you wish death upon yourself.❞

  "Sorry to ‘ear that, my lady." This time, he took a pitiful spit of his drink. For his whole life, he never experienced/or felt a pure love at heart. His former relationships failed miserably because he was unable to return love to his partners. It brought him to a new discovery that he was aromantic. 

"Merlin’s beard. I was jokin’" Scabior scoffed. "What makes ya think I need yer ‘elp?" He put his fancy-glass cup of wine down on table with a thud as red liquid splashed out of the cup, slowly trickling from the cup onto the table.

❝ You were the one implying we should get married, yes? ❞  Joanna shrugged, taking another sip from her glass. ❝ If you wish to be offended, there are far worse things to be offended over. ❞

She took a napkin and wiped up the mess he'd made. ❝ Do try to not spill wine all over the table. I'm sure you could vent your irritation in other ways--perhaps yelling or stamping your feet on the ground. ❞

  ❝ I think I know of  a place. Follow me. ❞ Hannibal smiled her big,pretty smile before pressing a kiss to Joanna’s hand. She lead the way out into the fresh air  before gesturing to her home, just across the street. ❝Imagine my lucky being able to walk across the road to the opera.❞

❝ I am at your command. ❞ Joanna had not yet

been to Hannibal's home, though the lioness 

knew it would not disappoint. The cold evening

air was refreshing from the stuffy atmosphere of

the party. ❝ I envy you--though I imagine the amount

of people out and about could be irritating. ❞

  "Our parents do not need to know." She reasoned softly, reaching a hand up now to stroke his cheek gently. She squeezed his other hand, keeping it close. "No one has to know but us, Justis…"

Joanna looked down to his hand holding hers. They seemed to fit perfectly together, as if they were made for one another. “It can be our secret. One not even Tywin Lannister can discover.”

❝ Not for the time being--but if anyone ever found out, you'd be ruined. ❞ He still was not willing to admit his love for her--not with words--it made things far too final. He only hoped that his sister would cease the madness she had brought upon them both.

❝ And even if it did work, what would I be reduced to? Stolen moments when the stars align proper? There is no guarantee that I would stay within the bounds of Casterly Rock--I'm a soldier, nothing more than that. Even if I did, the young Lord would put children in you and take you from me. ❞

  The living room was quite spacious with all old-fashioned furnishings. It surely showed Joanna’s character well. Frankly, with much redness in the room reminded him of Gryffindor common room when a sixth-year girl sneaked him in after hours. He shuffled along his way to the loveseat as he politely accepted Joanna’s offering.

"Well, first we ‘ave to get married. Then perhaps ya can leave my name in yer will." He laughed half-heartily.

❝ Sadly, I plan to remain a widow. ❞ She had no more room left for love--Tywin was gone, her beloved lion, and Joanna doubted that she could love again. One of the houselves brought back a goblet while another brought two heaping plates of turkey, sauteed vegetables, and a small pastry for dessert.

❝ Hopefully this will suffice. ❞ She motioned toward the plates, pouring herself a glass of wine afterward. The first thing she did was drink the delectable red wine. ❝ --and perhaps I could help you in regards to monetary issues. ❞ The Lannisters had so much money she rarely knew what to do with it. With her children grown and her husband gone, the manor was quite empty.

  Hannibal’s animal like grin only grew larger at Joanna’s flattery. She rather liked the way her  cheeks looked pink. The countess wondered  about other pink parts on Joanna before whispering into the woman’s ear. ❝ Lock in my jail then. I don’t plan to stop my ministrations any time soon.❞

The countess reached for Joanna’s hand. ❝ Come with me to somewhere more private. ❞

❝ If that is the case-- ❞ Joanna took Hannibal's

offered hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. The 

color in her cheeks did not fade, yet her tone

was playful. ❝ You have the right to remain

positively entrancing.❞ The lioness nodded 

toward the exit. ❝ Though I fear there is no

jail here--we will, indeed, have to go elsewhere. ❞

  "Keep on guessin’ my lady." He passed on a seductive wink at her as his fingers held on a firm grip of the chain. "Mmm. Can’t say I never enjoyed it through." He recalled memory that was clear as a pane glass; the sounds of torturous screams of several wizards each time they received a whip. 

The chain; a portkey, which sucked both of them into a vortex. He could feel his own eardrums popping as his body parts were twisted in unsettling ways before they returned to normal form once his feet reached a solid surface of the earth. 

Scabior gaping at the large, stunning castle that set beyond the sidewalk, towering over them. As he stepped onto the sidewalk, he noticed a marble foundation sitting on right lawn. He overlooked the bushes as what laid there was a beach, grass forming into sand. The moonlight reflected its own upon the ocean as the loop of waves crashing upon the ashore. He could see a ship in distance of the ocean as he walked towards her “home” 

"Aye, my lady." His eyes slowly glanced from the wondrous view of an ocean to Joanna’s eyes glistering with moonlight upon her face. This brought him to a hearty smile.

Using the portkey always left her feeling nauseous, though over the years she had gotten used to it. When her mother first gave her one she'd thrown up whenever they used it. Even as an adult Joanna failed to enjoy the experience, though she appreciated how it expedited traveling.

The massive doors opened for them, revealing a foyer with dark marble floors and white walls. Floating candles lit their path as she bid him to enter, the doors shutting firmly behind him once he was inside. 

❝ Come, we can eat in the living room. ❞ She disliked eating in the dining hall lest they had more than a handful of guests. It felt far too impersonal for a dining party of two. The walls remained white, yet the red and gold furnishings made the room quite lavish. A table next to the couch had a bottle of wine sitting on it, a single silver goblet next to it. Joanna called for the house elves to prepare two plates and to bring another goblet with haste.

She sat down, pouring the wine and offering it to him. ❝ What are you waiting for? Me dying of old age? ❞
