Muse A’s father likes to make up stories about his child cheating on his/her significant other because he thought it was funny. He continued doing it even after he had to get him/her from the hospital because of the beatings that resulted. Muse B can be the SO or the father.
There is a theif in Muse A’s town. The person breaks in, steals anything valuable and their plants. This goes on for a few months, until Muse A finds a stash of house plants in Muse B’s house/room. Muse B is into some weried drugs and breaks into places and steals their plants while high, and doesn’t remember any of it.
Muse A is has an abusive partner. They get out of the relationship by running away with their partner’s sibling- Muse B.
Muse A got pregnant in high school, and her/his parents were super Catholic, so abortion wasn’t an option, neither is having the shame of a pregnant child. So they sent her off to live in a convent to live with nuns until she had the baby, and then force her to give it up. Years later, Muse A finally tracks down Muse B, their child.
Muse A just married into a family and they are settling down for a nice holiday dinner. Muse B is the relative who got caught fucking horses.
Muse A is out with their parent, Muse B, and a bout of incontinence leads to embarrassing pants swapping.
Muse A ran away from home and was gang raped but no one ever did anything about it because they felt like it was her fault for being disobedient. Muse B can be a member or the family that makes jokes about it and laughs at her, or a friend who just found out.
Muse A just found out they are adopted. The parent that raised them was married to their biological parent, but the biological parent had an affair while they were in a mental hospital, and the spouse raised them as their own anyway. Muse B can be one of the parents, or someone else who discovered this fact.
Muse A beat their significant other’s lover to death with a chair. Muse B can be the SO, or someone else.
Muse A is meeting their friend’s family, when Muse B’s family tells them the story about Muse B, as a toddler, going to scatter their grandfather’s ashes, and instead, eating them.
Muse A’s significant other had a relationship with another while they were away at war. Muse B can be the child or the significant other.
Muse A catches Muse B having sex with their mother in their bathtub.
Muse A exploits the deepweb for money. S/he buys and sells illegal drugs, is suspected of trafficking/using extreme porn sites (children, rape/torture, animals), and operates traffic on a website that sold unsuspecting womens’ identities and personal information. Muse B finds out.
Muse A and B, who live in a home with their family, have to cover their floors in salt, because every morning they have been waking up to a coating of slimey black slugs, that they think are coming in from the bathtub. Turns out, a grandparent with dementia is stealing them from their neighbor’s slug hive.
Muse A comes home with a child, saying she got pregnant when she was traveling with her band and doesn’t know who the father is. In truth, the woman found the child after the biological mother died of an overdose. Muse B can be the child, the biological father, or someone in Muse A’s hometown.
Muse A got high and killed their best friend, but got away with it because their family member was the police chief. Muse B can be someone who found out, or the police chief.
