{Alphonse pats her belly similar to a drum as a way to show her she was wrong. He obviously knew telepathy didn’t work, but there was no harm in playing along.}
"BEEP. Wrong, I was thinking of quiche."
[ Edith clicks her tongue against the roof of her mouth, rolling her eyes as he pats her belly. And she can't help but shoot him a smile at it. ]
❝Who the fuck thinks of quiche like that, dude? You're so weird!❞
"Knock it off, seriously. I’m the Fullmetal Alchemist, not you. I have the watch to prove it.” He said, whipping out his pocket watch. It was odd, they both seemed to have automail arms on the same side too. Something fishy was definitely at play here.
As he shows his pocket watch, she digs her hand into her own pocket and brings her's out. Showing it to the golden-haired boy, she begins to get a bit angry. What is happening here? Where'd he get that watch?
"Are you mocking me? The Fullmetal Alchemist’s name is Edward Elric- that’s me. Not ‘Edith’.” What the hell was going on here? This was getting weirder by the second.
❝Why would I mock you? You're mockin' me.❞ The fact that they almost looked scary alike now that they've introduced each other in this way is a bit odd.
{a laugh escaped his grinning mouth. Once Alphonse was done grouping the strands, he tied it up, but was careful not to tug. He sat back and examined the braid, eyeing it up and down; yes, it was perfect. The younger brother wrapped his arms around her waist, hugging Edith from behind.}
"Yeah, you probably are…"
"and brother/sister telepathy? I don’t think that’s it."
[ She glances up at Alphonse when he hugs her, quirking a brow at this. Maybe she's just still not used to the fact that he's human again, and he can actually do those sort of things. She isn't sure. But she isn't complaining, either. ]
❝Dude. We totally have bro/sis telepathy. Think of something! Watch, I'll guess it.... Were you thinking of alchemy?❞

Shrugging, Edith grabs the coat off of him, places it on a surface near her, and with the scrap that had ripped off, transmutes it brand new with just a clap of her hands. Once she's satisfied with it, she hands it back to him. ❝Fullmetal! Yours?❞

{Alphonse scooted behind her and grouped up her hair with both of his hands. Whenever he did do something like this, which was kind of rare, Alphonse was rather gentle and delicate with his job. He parted her hair in three sections and started to fold the strands back and forth with a gentle smile.}
"I try. Haha."
[ She sat as still as she could as to not mess up the braid Alphonse was going to make for her. Staring at the wall in front of her, she felt his fingers against her scalp as he grabbed and parted her hair, then felt a slight tugging when it was being braided, but nothing uncomfortable. In fact, it felt pretty good. One of the perks of braiding hair. ]
❝I don't even think you try anymore. I think I'm just permanently etched into your brain. Brother/sister telepathy or somethin'.❞

This is one of the only times Edith would ever willingly accept Greed's help and was quick in snatching the bottle, opening it, and drinking two pills.
"Something the matter?"
❝Everything is the matter right now. Please, just-- don't speak.❞
"W-well…I c-could, but…Yeah, maybe you should d-do it." He stated, holding out his arm. He seemed tense, like he was bracing himself for the worst. "I’m g-guessing you’re an alchemist too?"
She nods, bending forwards to pick up the scrap of cloth and then holding her hand out for the coat. ❝Yeah, I'm a state alchemist, actually.❞
"Y-yeah, i-t’s pretty w-weird…"He replied, shaking her hand. It wasn’t until after they had connected hands Edward realized his jacket had gotten caught on her arm, and he grunted in irritation.
"A-ah, hang on, my b-bad." He attempted to disconnect his jacket from her, effectively ripping his entire right sleeve. Welp.
She blinked as she tried to tug her arm away from his jacket, but to no avail. It just didn't work. ❝...Does this happen often?❞
It isn't until he tries that the whole sleeve just rips off entirely. She stares at it, still stuck on her arm, but now that it isn't on him she removes it and lets it flutter to the floor. She stares at it for a few moments, before looking back up at Edward. ❝You want me to fix that for you?❞
