I'd really, really like to see Pedro in a horror/thriller as a serial killer... Maybe something like a charming admirer who hits on women/men and then murders them. I'd like his character to be a blood-soaked psychopath (but not like in 'Bloodsucking Bastards,' because that movie is hard to watch, but something like 'Dexter').

Every time I watch scenes with an angry Joel, I know Pedro would be perfect for such a film. He could create a character that would terrify and delight us at the same time. A character that would keep us glued to the edge of our seats.

So, I'm still in the 'Pedro with the stubble' club...

But...

Yeah, he looks really good. Like suddenly ten years younger...

It might sound silly, but...

I'd like to be the person who hugs Pedro the way he hugs people. Protectively, without expectations. Not even intimately, just in a friendly way. And to remain silent...

I'd like to be the person who, while walking the dog, meets Pedro and lets him pet my puppy. Who shares a few kind words with him. And allows him to be a normal guy for a moment, free from the burden he has to bear.

I'd like to be the person who, when seeing Pedro in a restaurant, doesn't pull out my phone and take a picture of him. Just smile at him and wish him a nice day without informing the whole world where he was, who he was with, or what he ate.

I'd like to be the person in the theater sitting behind Pedro, trying not to laugh as he keeps making comments. And again, without pulling out my phone. Without taking surreptitious photos.

I'd like to be the person who meets him when he's in a hurry and politely declines to sign an autograph. And even though it would be painful and sad, I wouldn't go online and describe what a terrible person Pedro is. I'll just understood that each of us is human. That each of us has our own emotions, moods, and problems.

I'd simply wanted to be the person who, even for a moment, showed him that not everyone was a fake, selfish, narcissistic fan.

Gentle Reminder...

Pedge doesn't want to say very much about the recent discourse, but I came across this on IG from littlemrsmorales and I thought it was very well spoken. As you'll notice Papi himself liked the post, so I think it speaks to his intentionality.

Not to make light of threats, but this is hardly the first time he and his family have dealt with incredible injustices, and will unfortunately continue to do so. And yet, he still remains steadfast in his activism, alleyship and transparency. I can't believe he allows most of the conversation on his Instagram to remain open, and I wouldn't be nearly so patient. I am amazed he shares as much of his life as he does...

I understand the feelings many have expressed on Tumblr, and I don't want to discourage healthy conversation, but let's keep it in our house and not take it to his.

There's plenty of Love to go around, and I for one, am feeling more loved up than ever :)
