How perceptive are they of their surroundings?

Lirin has his head in the clouds. He’s often caught daydreaming, or in meditative states when he has free time. He misses social cues outside of his role as a servant and rarely recognizes subtlety. He’s not stupid, but he has been sheltered ever since he was boy raised in a monastery. When it comes to people, he’s not very perceptive.

But, when it comes to nature, plants and animals especially, he is very perceptive. He has a natural gift with animals, especially more skittish ones like sheep and horses, and his understanding of plants is impressive. He know how to commune with nature and is very sensitive to natural surroundings.
