How obvious is spamton and tenna’s relationship to other people? Are they good at acting like business partners or is everyone like “ya they are definitely dating”? (I know that queen figured it out lol)
Theyre acting all buddy-buddy after chapter 4 which is suspicious but to most of the crew it doesnt immediately read as them being together. Its just kind of obnoxious. Tenna tries to make the special treatment he gives spamton not so obvious but... Its funnier that things slip sometimes and they panic to cover it up.
Before anything really happened between the two, It was obvious to the crew that knew Tenna. while it wasnt shown in the comic, Tenna was complaining about Spamton non-stop to people he considered his confidants (Elnina, Lanino, Shuttah, Ramb) that just goes hand in hand with him spying on Spamton through the cameras and digging up info about his previous employment to see if he was legit. Those people could tell he was getting obsessed and dreaded anything coming out of it. Then all of the sudden hes not complaining about him anymore. 🙄
The extras and studio hands arent clued in to whats happening but theres some kind of nasty sinister vibe radiating off the two of them after a certain point but they dont care. As long as tenna is not making them work overtime theyre happy to mind their own business.
The "fake mikes" not being dialed in to the personal affairs is a beloved bit of mine and i think theyre more concerned with finding out whos on the other end of Tennas earpiece. He doesnt talk about work drama with the Dreemurrs, he only mentions things hes proud of to them. He is proud of Spamton in a way, but hes been barred from disclosing the nature of the relationship to anyone. So they have no idea who Spamton is.
