Now that I'm finally out of hospital...
You being out of the hospital is certainly something to celebrate, but I’m gonna have to decline that drink.
Alright, Molly. Your company is all anyone could ever need anyways. How have you been?Â

Now that I'm finally out of hospital...
Anyone care to have a drink?
Well that escalated quickly
Regulus woke up in the hospital wing, his body aching all over and his head still spinning. Everything after his encounter with Rowan was hazy, though he remembered being brought here and put on a bed. Pomfrey had fussed over him for quite a while, since he was one of those people who was rarely under her care except for the occasional quidditch injury. But now he was alone again, wanting to sleep but unable to. He’d heard he’d have nightmares, and he wasn’t looking forward to that anyway. He heard footsteps approaching and attempted to look asleep, though he was always shit at that.
Elisabeth had been lying around, still looking and feeling worse than she had in a longer time than she could rightly remember. She had been semi-conscious when the younger of the two Black brothers had been brought in, but she was fully awake now, much to her own chagrin as the latest potion Pomfrey had concocted to help her with her nightmares and the residual effects of multiple overlapping curses did more to hurt her head than it did to help. Blue eyes glancing over at the cot where the boy lay near her, she opened her mouth to speak. "So you're finally waking up?"
"Hospital wing?" He furrowed his brow. "What were you doing in there?" His concern grew as she sat quietly, almost detached from reality. He’d seen her around, and this definitely seemed out of character for her.
She pushed back any tears. She would not cry. "I...I don't really know. All I know is that I was attacked. I can't remember anything except the pain." In her head there were only flashes. Sparks of green, and the feeling of her body and mind being on fire. Convulsions and screams that seemed to rip her apart. "I've been in there for more than week. It feels like I can't breathe." Perhaps there was a reason that the Ravenclaw insignia was an eagle. A bird that was thought to symbolize wisdom to some, but also a bird that could not leave in a cage.Â
He smiled softly at her, “Get out of where?” he asked, still maintaining the gentle voice as he stood up and walked over to perch on the desk next to her. “What’s up?” He glanced out of the window, seeing a few second years idly practising spells on the grass. He sighed. “Nothing could be worse than having a haircut like that, could it?” he said, pointing out the disaster that sat upon the head of the second year who sat in the middle of his friends.
Well, now was the moment of truth. At a low volume she muttered "Hospital Wing." Â Her legs were folded up against her chest. She looked up at her professor when he inquired as to what had happened, but was thanking Merlin and every other legendary witch or wizard when he mentioned the small group of second years outside, and a weak smile appeared on her lips.Â
It was mid-morning, and Domhnall was bored with the essays he was marking. Some of them were so pleasing and inciteful, and others were so half-arsed that he really just didn’t want to waste any ink telling them how bad they were. What was to be expected, really? He’d slipped out to make himself a coffee, and returned to find a young, blonde student sitting by the window of his classroom. He placed his mug down on his desk and perched on the end of it. “Everything okay?” he said softly, making sure he wouldn’t frighten her.
Her eyes were closed, and her breathing seemed forced in its slow state. Sleep had been a luxury she'd rarely been afforded. With every attempt made came a bout of nightmares to wake her. She didn't know that a teacher would walk in, and didn't hear the footsteps when he did. Despite the soft tone of his voice when he spoke, she still jumped. "Professor. I-I'm sorry. I just needed to get out. I..." She didn't know what to say. She was just praying he didn't send her back to the hospital wing.
Sitting in the corner of the classroom, Elisabeth looked out the window, down at the grounds below. She had just needed to get away, and so snuck out of the hospital wing while Pomfrey had been distracted, and thus found herself here.
In the hospital wing.
Didn't expect to see you here.
I certainly wasn’t expecting to see you here, Edgecombe. Did you try and give one of my friends detention or something?
"Might have. When I remember what happened, I'll let you know." Attempting to sit up a bit more, Lisa realized how bad of a decision that was. She knew she probably looked a mess, but at the moment, she wasn't as inclined to care.
Didn't expect to see you here.
MUGGLE STUDIES AT HOGWARTS
"It will be as painless as possible, I swear."
"Actually, I feel I'm quite looking forward to it."
Seeing her friend, her best friend, so broken made her heart hurt. She wished she could fix it, wished she cold make it all go away. She couldn’t and Marlene knew that. All she could do was be there for Lisa and help her through the healing process. “Oh Lisa, we’re going to find who did this.” And when I do, they’re dead.
She saw how angry her friend was, and where she should have felt worried, she was just glad that Marlene was there. And her promise echoed in Lisa's mind. They would. She would. She had to. "Marlene...I know that look. Don't do anything too brash. Please."
Dorcas frowned slightly. “I swear to Merlin if someone attacked you, I’ll kill them.” Her voice came out harsh and she took a deep breath to calm herself down. “Do you need anything? Water? Madam Pomfrey? Anything?”
She smiled, as best she could. "It'll be kind of hard to kill them. I don't know who did it." She admitted, but shook her head. "At the moment, company is all I need, and you're doing great with that."
I’m not, not this time. What happened?
Marlene. The girl who had stood by her for seven years, and held more of her trust than most could ever dream. Lisa looked at her friend, but when she looked she did so with broken eyes. "I don't know. All I know is that I was attacked." Her voice cracked, but she continued. "Pomfrey says some students found me in a hallway. But...Marls, I don't remember any of it." Her eyes watered, against her own wishes.
Mary bit down harshly on her bottom lip, hand squeezing Elisabth’s in a move designed to comfort the blonde, as the Gryffindor could only imagine how hard it must have been for her friend. It was one thing to be attacked, quite another to be left with no recollection of the events that had taken place. But when you were a Ravenclaw, a person who presumably could not function without the knowledge their mind was perfectly functioning with no hitches or errors, well… “Oh, Lissy..” Her voice was a hushed whisper, whole body moving so that Mary could perch on the bed, allowing the hand that wasn’t holding Lisa’s to begin gently stroking the blonde’s hair back out of her face.
She'd already finished with her share of tears, and so refused to shed any more, at the current moment. By now she'd lost count of how many attempts she'd made to remember the event itself, but in the end, she was left with only glimpses, fragments of memory that gave nowhere near the result she desired. Her body tensed once more at her friend's touch, though that hardly said anything as she'd been tense for days. "I don't know what to do." Words she hated saying, but were truthful nonetheless.
A weak smile appeared on her lips. “As gorgeous as always, although slightly worn around the edges.”
A faint chuckle slipped out as she breathed. "Thanks for lying."
"Oh, hush." She chuckled, doing her best to ignore the surge of guilt that appeared when Elisabeth visibly jumped. "Who did this to you, Lissy?" Her voice was quiet and full of concern, thumb stroking the back of the blonde’s hand in soothing motions.
It hurt to think, but thinking was what a Ravenclaw did best. It was what they fell back on when in times of stress. Their mind. As stereotypes went, Eagles always had to know everything, and with this, it was the not knowing that was the worst. Not knowing who did it, or why, or how to react. "I...I don't know. I don't remember."
