My own curated chic story. I have been doing the curated look for a longtime, now. It literally started when I was super young, wild and broke and working at incredibly fancy and serious celebrity design firms in Los Angeles. I definitely could not afford items I was proposing to clients -so headed out to find an eclectic mix of photography + mid century pieces and 30’s French Modern-way more affordable- at flea markets and stuff. ..Then refinished them and fixed them up. #Joyfully and somewhat ironically, my home now looks exactly like iconic showroom The Line’ on Melrose Place current Vignette. I see my French 30’s and Heywood Wakefield furniture in magazines and stuff! Jean Royere sofa still to come. I’m currently proposing that item on projects, however. 💕 life is pretty cool.
