“Well- no” she answered with a chuckle “Most of classical technics were actually lost after the barbaric attacks on the roman empire, dark ages artist couldn’t actually pain as the classical artist because they didn’t know how.” she explain “But it was also a way they saw painting. They thought things that were closer to the viewer should be smaller, and the painting should open up so things were further away looked bigger- that’s mostly why they look so odd now that perspective is a thing.” she joked shrugging. She chuckled a bit at his question “Well yes- a bit. It’s more of a tradition now than anything else I suppose. But I would think Portugal should be quite fond of the English no? With their longest standing treaty in the world and all.”
