“It isn't God, Matthew,I said. The destruction, losing Gary. It's humans alone that have the power to destroy. I don't know why God didn't plan it differently, but that's the way it is. Maybe he just has too much faith in us.”

It's a tight race! Our LIS Reads – LIS Lê house competition is off to a healthy, enthusiastic start. Yellow house, don’t despair; just jump into week two’s challenge!
This week, there are three ways to win. Each way means sharing a quote from one of the three LIS Reads – LIS Lê books on the library bulletin board or on the LIS Reads – LIS Lê Tumblr.
Share a quote : 1 point
Use a Creative Commons Licensed image to illustrate your quote and share it: 3 points
Illustrate (by hand or with your own photograph) a quote, license your work with Creative Commons and share it – LIS Le books : 5 points
Want to learn more about Creative Commons, use the library space to create or learn how to submit your quote to Tumblr? Come by the library during the second half of lunch any day this week. Ms. Katy will have supplies, a quick Creative Commons tutorial and laptops for Tumblr submissions ready to go. Not sure what this might look like? Check out the LIS Reads – LIS Lê Tumblr to see a few examples.
