irondad spiderson headcanon where tony overheard peter saying he liked a snack one time and he kept it stocked in his house forever after that

forever thinking about how in spider-man: no way home, the iron spider suit’s nanonites(??) take from the mask part of the suit first when there is a loss in material to another part of the body.

do you think it was because tony figured that if peter’s identity was revealed mid-battle & leaked to the public, he’d be around to protect peter from the legal consequences of it. or even that if peter’s identity was fully leaked, that everyone would see the same potential in this bright eyed young teenager that tony himself saw, and that they would want to protect him as much as they’ve wanted to protect spider-man all these years. so protecting peter’s body was always the first priority in the making of the design.

either way, it’s an act of love. and although neither case becomes true, it’s ironically a feature that ends up saving peter’s life, regardless. because just when the world hated peter parker the most, a man that hates him in another universe saw the same kid that tony stark once saw, all those years ago.

Peter Parker (who's been taken in by Tony Stark) headcanons:

He used to wear cheap Iron Man merch to sleep. After Tony comes into his life, he wore plain shirts out of fear of him finding out.

He watches interior design documentaries about the Avengers tower so when he first goes there, he knows his way round and Tony was scared he'd been stalking him.

He carries around a small notebook with facts about Tony, suit ideas, and one liners he took from Tony to say to criminals.

Before she died, Aunt May found his spidersuit while cleaning and she thought he was a cosplayer, she bought him tickets to a convention and he went in his suit.

He lost a spiderman lookalike competition.

He doodles spiderwebs on the corners of his notebooks, along with the Iron Man helmet.

He lets spiders into the tower as he feels like killing them was similar to a human killing another human.

He has brown eyes, but after he was bitten the centre went green as it grows as he gets older, only Tony noticed.

Has an Iron Man fan page with thousands of followers (Tony is aware of, but Peter doesn't know he knows).

He accidentally wears his suit to school a lot, and Tony has to ask him before he leaves in the mornings.

Coffee and energy drinks make him incredibly tired, whenever hes in the labs too long, Tony will give him coffee so he'll go to sleep.

Went 5 days without sleeping and accidentally called Tony uncle Ben, Tony made sure he got to sleep from that point on.
