Listen for Life

Listen for Life (www.listenforlife.org) is a global music community of people, projects, productions and performances. We are the "sound collectors", reviving the power of music worldwide! We invite all inspiring performers, producers and listeners to join us and "Change the Channel" of global music-media, save music cultures, and make a concrete difference in your own communities through our outreach projects. We create TV programs, music videos, educational and travel products, and produce unique live shows (see www.listenforlife.org/pdsizzle) featuring great music masters of all cultures/genres. We have thus far had projects, programs, productions or volunteers in 45 countries, and impacted the lives of over 9 million people. We have LFL members/volunteers that help with online/virtual tasks, and ones that set up their own LFL projects "on the ground" in their own communities. SO - Have some spare time or resources at the moment? Believe in the power of music? Let's celebrate the summertime with Gershwin! 

Come join us for some beloved music from the 1920s and 1930s. Listen for Life's new FREE Notes for Nourishment concert is Sunday, July 30th at 3pm at St. Joseph Basilica, 1109 Chestnut St. Alameda, CA 94501.

This concert will include a wonderful collection of Gershwin's most popular songs. We will be celebrating mezzo-soprano Sonja Bruzauskas, an Internationally popular recording artist, and renowned concert pianist, Donna Stoering.

Donations at this NFN concert will benefit Bay Area programs that nourish the aging who suffer from Alzheimer’s and dementia.

Concert: Golden Gate Boys Choir and Bell Ringers

Under the direction of Steven J Meyer, the GGBC will be performing at St. Joseph’s Basilica at 3 PM tomorrow! This is a wonderful opportunity, and all donations collected will support the GGBC program as well as an organization that aids refugees settling in the community. We hope to see you there!

This Sunday, May 21st, see the Golden Gate Boy's Choir and Bell Ringers perform live at St Joseph Basilica in Alameda, California! This widely-acclaimed group has put together a special one-hour program for our Notes for Nourishment! Donations will go towards the GGBC as well as towards an organization that aids refugees settling in our region.
