WOLFSHEAD LIVE: Supporting Church of Misery at The Underworld, 27/07/2014
Good news, everyone! We’ve been added to the bill for the London date of Church of Misery’s Summer European Tour 2014, at the Underworld on Sunday the 27th of July! Fellow DesertFest veterans Slabdragger are also playing, meaning that the chances of Chuch having to perform on a heap of rubble are reasonably high.
We have a limited number of cheap tickets for this show, which can be purchased from this seetickets.com page for £8.80 including booking fees, saving you the cost of a watered-down pint of Tuborg in the process.

Claire over at The Heavy Chronicles caught up with Mart during the DesertFest weekend over hangover-subduing beers at Camden's Brewdog. If words about new material, touring, and festivals are your thing, this interview will probably also be your thing.
M: We are writing at the moment, the new stuff is a lot heavier than what we’ve put out so far. THC: Heavier… and slower as well? M: Slower AND faster! And more metal! (laughs) ... it’s all got much more energy, it’s really saturated. A lot of rage.

"Take the unexpectedly awesome Wolfshead ... any band who can get their audience to shout out their song titles in French, before launching into 'The Garden' (aka: 'Le Jardin'), a crushing Sleep-esque dirge that contains the lyrics "I used to want to be a man of substance, instead I'm just a man of substances", is alright by me. Dude, *that's* what Desertfest is about."
Big thanks to Toby Cook for the Wolfshead love in The Quietus' comprehensive review of DesertFest 2014. The phrase "doom-adverse thunder-cunt" is a particular highlight of the article.

This one's a biggie. Wolfshead will play DesertFest 2014 this April. We love this London festival hard, so we're completely stoked to be playing alongside the likes of Spirit Caravan, Church of Misery, and Elder, as well as our pals GHOLD and Wizard Fight. Roll on April!

LIVE: VENOMFEST V at The Anvil, Bournemouth
Our next show is going to be a rad one. We're playing this year's VENOMFEST alongside Witchsorrow, Gurt, Iron Hearse, Skeleton, Strank, and Voodoo Pistols.
£5 advance tickets are available from Skeleton's Big Cartel store, or £6 on the door. Doors at 6:30pm, bands from 7pm, and the bar's open until 5am for the warriors amongst us.

People of the Southern lands! We hereby instruct you to descend upon the town of Aldershot on Saturday the 14th of September to witness this, our first hometown show, at the West End Centre.
We're playing the magic 9pm slot, which will give you just the right amount of time to consume the "I'm having a total blast" level of alcohol, rather than that familiar late-evening "I'm totally going to vomit everywhere" level of intoxication that lends itself to poor enjoyment of fine heavy rock music. You don't want that at all. None of us do.

"But Wolfshead," you exclaim, "how can you go on the road if you haven't booked any gigs?" That, friends, is a pertinent question, and one that you should help to answer if you want to see the name 'Wolfshead' emblazoned across a load of gig listings in 2013.
We want to play in a town near you. Drop us an email and let us know your favourite venues, or the names of your local promoters, or who all the rad bands in your area are, and we'll move the earth to make something happen; or, you can use the social sharing buttons below to echo our rallying cry across the Internet machine. Better still, hit up your favourite venues, local promoters, and local bands, and hassle them to put us on the bill sometime — help us find the shows and we'll help you bang your heads when you go to them.
