Method
So its been a while since I've posted anything here but I wanted to share this method I thought of a while back. Maybe it could help someone.
I was someone who often had a hard time keeping focus on a guided meditation for too long (proud to say I've gotten better at this) but if I don't use something I loose focus of what I'm doing and eventually loose track.
I call this method the type writer method because you have to have a background sound with whatever music or scenic sound you want but with typing sounds, and then you just think as you're “writing”, and you type and you feel what you're typing and your surroundings, I like this method because if you feel like you're not good at visualizing; the words can be your eyes I guess you could say. You can also incorporate things that are specific to you and that work for you.
The last time I did this method I was super tired and I was too tired to keep up with the typing sound I had made ( the typing was too fast) so I changed to an ambience sound from Naruto and I started to drift and as I was drifting I was paying attention to my thoughts just letting them run and then I had some sort of memory flashback from my Naruto reality come to me and I was like wtf... because I remember thinking "WTH I remember him telling me this I just don't remember when" and I got up all confused.
I took a long break from shifting because of school and life but I am going back to my roots 🌲
