Answered this on Twitter but I’ll answer it on here too just in case it’s also a tumblr question!

I want bills personality to be closer to the comics but a lot of my drawings depict him having a more toned down personality similar to the pilot, it’s mostly just for self indulgence.

For vivbill they meet a year before the original comics take place, making it so Vivian meets bill before he completely gets worse as a person, he’s still rude and actively annoying, it just wouldn’t be as bad and his attitude is slowly heading towards the direction of being more awful.

What I want for bill is for him to have the choice if whether he wants to better himself as a person because of Vivian or stay within his comfort zone of toxic fandom spaces because that’s all he’s ever known as a form of escapism.

Based on the comics, bill wouldn’t ever change for anyone because he doesn’t think there’s anything wrong with him to begin with, in his mind that’s just the way he is, and he’s always gonna stay that way.

However, because he meets Vivian earlier I’d like to think his relationship with her would challenge that idea bill has of himself in a way.

As for your vivbill question!

I really enjoy the headcanon of bill being enamored with drawing. When he has the time he’ll try recreating his favorite comic book panels or characters in old notebooks and the corners of school work he could care less about.

Vivian also has an interest in drawing, although not the best, she loves it regardless and takes a lot of inspiration from her favorite shoujo and romance mangas.

I like the idea of them drawing together while enjoying each others company, Vivian asking bill once in while to draw something for her, and with a lot of protest, he doodles something for her anyways.

Vivian definitely keeps any drawing bill gives her, especially if it’s of her favorite characters.
