Today I used my skills Evaluating Author Credibility and Identifying Author Bias.
Today I saw a book in the library entitled Disney Adults. I opened the book and looked at the Table of Contents. I saw that one of the chapters was called "The Most Hated Group on the Internet."
From this, I made an inference that the author sympathizes with Disney Adults and may be a Disney Adult themselves. They used loaded terms ("most hated") to describe the supposed plight of Disney adults.
From this, I concluded that the author is likely to disapprove of negative views of Disney Adults in the book and promote positive views of the group instead. This is the Author Bias. Because of this bias, this book is probably not a reliable source for information about Disney Adults. It would be a reliable source for how Disney Adults think about themselves.
