Ahmed Best was quoted as saying he'd "considered" doing so due to the online backlash but the actor himself is still alive and well - unless you're getting confused with young Anakin Skywalker Actor, Jake Lloyd; who after being so aggressively bullied by Star Wars 'fans' suffered several mental breakdowns and now resides in an inpatient adult mental health care facility , but has done several recent press interviews and does appear to be improving.
