Thank you for writing Birds Fly in Different Directions. It's really good and I hope I find some time to finish some more fanart for it soon. :)
No, thank you so much for reading, and for all the kickass art you’ve done so far!!! I have honestly treasured your art and nice comments so much.
Here’s my latest birb photograph, as a thank you!
A quick comic practice sketch with Birds Fly in Different Directions (by @litfeathers), chapter 42. I might have shortened some of the dialogue a bit... but I wanted this exchange to fit into 4 panels!
Gonna try to catch up on this rad fic while I'm frozen in this weekend. Maybe do some more fanart?
Happy Birthday, Birdie! 🥰 I hope you have an amazing day! 🥳🥳🥳
Fairy my beloved!!! Thank you so much it indeed was a really nice day! I ate some tasty food spent time with some lovely people and got to watch a literal swarm of these little guys!
Be sure to keep it lit… by Abigail Larson on Instagram for the Over the Garden Wall show at Gallery Nucleus
Lovely couple with nothing bad going on
There is only ONE WEEK left to order yourself a copy of our zine/merch. Once sales close, they'll be gone for good, so if you've been waiting, now is the time!! 🌠
The loons are going absolutely buckwild tonight!!!
Birds Fly in Different Directions has updated!
Chapters 37, 38, 39, 40, and 41 have been posted.
The Stats Pairings: Witteclaw (Evelyn Clawthorne & Caleb Wittebane) Rating: M Current word count: 113,204 Other notes: If you want a fic with banter, birds, a romance between two best friends, more birds, Caleb being a giant nerd, birds again, pumpkin sops, Evelyn being in total denial over her massive crush on that blond nerd, Flapjack being the best wingbird ever, a terrible fantasy novel called A Dance of Bones and Shadow Amongst the Winds of the Knee, Caleb falling first gracefully and gently, Evelyn falling harder and flat on her face, portal lore™, an obnoxiously snoopy little sister, a terrible drawing that almost ruins someone’s life, feathery blackmail, closely guarded secrets that really should be told, palisman carving, snuggly naps, a few mental breakdowns, an unfortunate incident with a scarf, carpentry, birds, a close call with a carving knife, massive guilt, danger, birds, an encounter with a little dragon, and a focus on Evelyn’s POV? This fic might be of interest to you.
We are currently entering the endgame of our story, and I am so excited to share it with you. Thanks for reading!
-🔥🪶
I’ve been editing Birds Fly on and off all day and it’s starting to really hit that we are in endgame. There are parts of the finale that make me grin evilly and parts that threaten to stab me in the chest and there are parts that make me want to cry like a little baby. But the overwhelming emotion that I feel is pride. I had so much fun writing this story, and I can only hope that those of you who have been along for the ride had a great time too.
Thanks for reading. 🔥🪶

Pros of vampirism: cool commissions from over 100 years ago. Cons? You have to pay to see them.
Important news: the timberdoodles are still peenting in the yard, and the local blue jay gang attempted a raid on the robin nest, but were unsuccessful. A common yellowthroat appears to have moved into the neighborhood, and besides the robins I have also heard veerys, wood thrushes, and swainson’s thrushes, rounding out the thrush brigade. A female and male ruby throated hummingbird are bravely defending the feeder, and a murder of crows threw trash all over the place this morning. Quite a successful day, to be sure.
