✨Well I’m all moved it! I’m actually so surprised how big my dorm is! It might just be the way we arranged the furniture, or the fact that I didn’t bring too many things with me, but I feel like I have so much more room than I thought I would. It was pretty sad when my parents left though, and I definitely did cry, but they aren’t very far from college (which means I’ll see them fairly often). My roommate is absolutely amazing though, and we seem very similar! I’m very excited to start classes! 2 days left!

By the way, if anyone wants to see my workspace or dorm, just let me know 😊✨

august 10th 2019 - hello, i’m currently reading all the bad apples + the last namsara and i’m enjoying both. i’m still not studying for my teacher exam/competition though. i lack motivation. but i’m hoping next week will be calmer and perhaps i’ll be able to study again. we’ll see. in the meantime i’m gonna read all the books!

We love doing pre-reading in this house! This isn't actually reading the course I'm doing, but for the history society that I'm thinking of joining at university! The book is "Sweet Land of Liberty? The African American Struggle for Civil Rights" by Robert Cook. It's a heavy read, but an interesting one.

I feel bad because I haven’t been posting, but the good news is that I move into college on Friday! In the mean time, here are the classes I’m taking this semester (just so y’all know what to expect)

Math has never been a strong suit of mine, so I’m taking a very easy level of it while pushing myself in subjects I feel more confident in (History, French, Literature). I really don’t know what to expect with my Ethics class, as it’s actually a seminar style class, but I’m excited for it. 8 days until classes begin!
