“Have been trying to stay away from the library so that I won’t accidentally stay for 5 days again.”
Leslie looked at him weirdly, “You need a watch on you.”
“Have I? I somehow don’t think I caught the memo.”
“Oh you know you have. So you’re a professor now, huh?”
“I could always bribe the professor,” Ava said. “He might go for it, he’s got that “I could be bribed” vibe, you know?”
“We can just get the same schedule next semester. Our professor’s a bit of an ass. Great teacher, bit of an ass.”
“Okay I won’t,” he laughed. “But come one! The sun is almost setting!”
“Alright. Alright. What are we playing?”
“And we are here,” Cory said once they were apparated. “Lead the way, Leslie.”
“To the pier!” She exclaimed.
“So what is your major?”
“Healing. How about you?”
“I was trying to go just for the plain black dress that I can dress up or dress down.” Vera explained. She pulled the doors to her closet open wider, “Take a look for yourself.”
Leslie was awed at her sight. “These clothing are amazing,” she said, standing up as her fingers touched the fabrics. “What about this black dress?”
Emma chuckled and nodded, “Oh yeah. Transfiguration would have been hard and well they did love them like family.” She then nodded again and opened a chocolate bar. “Alrighty. Oh, I’m Emma Pine. Pleasure.” She smiled and held out a hand.”
She shook her hand and introduced herself, “Leslie Grimaldi. The pleasure’s all mine, Emma Pine.”
“It just looks too sheer,” Vera said with a sigh, removing the dress and putting back her normal clothes. “At least I learned my lesson.”
“What were you going for anyway? Chic? What else do you got in there?” She nodded her head to the closet.
“Sure, let’s do it.” Cory held out her arm for Leslie.
Leslie nodded and took the girl’s arm.
“Yes we shall,” he grinned and started walking.
Leslie followed him out, “So what have you been up to lately? ”
“I am thinking maybe he is lonely since I came here. And he is used to owls. I went to Hogwarts for seven years. So some reason, he only liked to hunt the rats of fellow class mates.” Emma smiled then let it go a bit. “Oh. Well my parents normally send extra. You may have a look and see what you like and have it. I mean I normally do not eat it all.”
“That must have been terrifying for the owners of the rats,” she said. “Oh, no. that’s alright really. I couldn’t. They were meant for you.”
“The meeting time was 5 pm and now it’s 5 30.” He raised a brow with a grin.
Leslie playfully glared at him, “Let’s not speak of this again.”
“Not a nightgown. I ordered it online for my Moms birthday and it looks all wrong. Never shop online. That’s what I learned.”
“Online shopping... how do I say this? It’s not for everyone. Sometimes the clothing looks good in the photo, but when it’s on us it’s not what we expect.”
Ava walked with her, nodding. “My class is me and a bunch of guys, it’s so lonely,” Ava joked. “Maybe our schedules will switch around soon, then we could be in the same class.”
“Sounds fun,” she chuckled. “That’s true. Now that’s something to look forward to.”
“That’s dramatic, but yes ‘hello, it’s me,’” Cormac sang dramatically, smiling as he did. “That would be me, I am he, the lifeguard of the cruise.”
“Right. Well , you’ve been missed, by so many people.”
