āWait..you have a Horntail?ā He stared at her with wide eyes when she said that.
āOh no! I meant not a Horntail. Sorry.ā She laughed some,Ā āNo. Not that one though. They are aggressive and one of the most dangerous dragons.ā

āYeah? I think you should take a dragon baby-raising course first, or something. Make sure youāre ready and all that,āĀ
āYeah that sounds like a good idea. Like a pregnant class, but with a dragon egg. I like it. Any place that offers those?ā

āI want a dragon as a pet.ā She says as she is reading her book about dragons.
āI donāt think youād be capable of doing that.ā He joked, shaking his head at her.Ā āOh, of course. I need to clear a day anyway; sheās got my back.ā He laughed.Ā āOh, okay. As long as sheās a nice addition to the family, then thatās great.ā He nodded, taking the sauce. He put the already fried chicken into a separate dish, pouring the sauce over it, sprinkling cheese on top and he stuck it in the oven.Ā āAnd now we wait. Dāyou want some wine or something?ā
āI am fully capable and coming to kidnap you. Of course I gotta make sure you are clocked out and well packed up and ready.ā Emma smiled,Ā āYes, Prim is. Sweet owl.ā She watched him for a moment and looked up to nod at the offer of wine.Ā āUh yes please. Best ya got.ā
āIām sure heād be really happy to hear that you said that, thatās so nice.ā
āI am sure he knows. I try to be nice. So what are you studying here?ā
āLilies sound great, I donāt think Iāve ever tried those. Very impressive, though, I donāt think Iāve ever had anything alive longer than a year. Iāve got carnations, daffodils, some other stuff that I donāt know the names ofā¦ Xavier helps me with most of it, to be honest.āĀ
āOoh wow. That sounds gorgeous when they are all full bloom. Iām sorry I have no idea who Xavier is.ā
āHealing. How about you?ā
āDragonology. Been fasinated with dragons since I was a child. Healing sounds cool.ā
āIām Arlette,ā she said, smiling back.Ā āAre you new here? I havenāt seen you around before even if Iāve been here just a few weeks.ā
āNice to meet you, Arlette.ā Emma nodded,Ā āYes. Kinda. I do believe I have been here for a Ā little over two weeks now.ā
āIām sure heād be really happy to hear that you said that, thatās so nice.ā
āMade me worry about him even more. But I know he will be fine. Anyways what is your major?ā
āHe is a golden retriever. Lives with me.ā He said.Ā āI canāt really say that I ownĀ him because I own him as much as he owns me. It can be hard to explain.ā
Emma smiled,Ā āAw. How old is he?ā She tilted her head to the side a bit,Ā āExplain the best you can?ā Her shrugged.
āIām Arlette,ā she said, smiling back.Ā āAre you new here? I havenāt seen you around before even if Iāve been here just a few weeks.ā
āNice to meet you.ā Emma nodded,Ā āYeah a bit. Iāve been on campus for about two weeks now? So far I like it. We can be new together.ā
āAre you done with those fries?ā Camilleās words slurred together as she reached out for a fry.
āAll yours.ā Emma smiled, pushing the tray toward Camille.

Summer Vacation
Pretty much all of Emmaās family came to visit. It was first her motherās side of the family. Daniel took her out to get late birthday gifts, which were clothes and stuff for her dorm at Hogwarts University. She hung out with Callum, who took a summer break from Durmstrang and got to hear interesting stories from Sebastian about his hunting of criminals. She is not to close to her Aunt Lisa, but they are getting there. Emma sees her as a bit stuffy.
The week after her fatherās side came over. Travis and Alice went to Diagon Alley to pick up stuff for her classes and stuff for her birthday and took her out to eat. They told her stories about when she was little and spoiled Kaiser and Cole. Her Aunt Emily and Uncle Nathan showed with their children, Veronica and Annalise. Of course Emma didnāt think they (her cousins) would show since they were in different countries studying, but they hung out as well with Luke and Jacob (her other cousins). Emmaās Aunt Mary and Uncle Roy were there. Mary baked and iced a birthday cake for Emma and Kaiser played with Cole.Ā
Afterwords everyone leaving, Cole found a baby owl that Emma scooped up and Victoria healed back to good as new. She made sure all of her stuff was packed and ready to go as well as clothes and snacks for studying and sometimes during class. Emma had to make sure all her hygienic items were packed and ready to go as well as making sure her school books and dorm equipment that she got were ready as well.Ā Over all, her summer was perfect.
