hi, I'm 16 and it may sound weird, but all I want in my life right now is to have a baby, I know that maybe i would destroy my life, but i really want to be a mom now, it's my biggest dream, and i don't want to wait until i finish college or something, because i'll be too old. Please, help me, what should i do?

When you finish college you will in no way be to old to have a baby. I understand that there are many teen moms nowadays, but to be a teen mom by choice is definitely not a good choice, in my opinion at least. You are only 16, you cannot fully support a child like it will need to be, financially and in other ways. Because obviously it will be difficult money wise to have a baby at your age, but think about it - you hardly really know who you are at this point, you may not know what you want to do in the future, you may not be sure about your beliefs, and how you feel about certain things yet. How are you going to be able to raise a child and instill the proper views and beliefs into it, if you're not sure about your own? Really think about this one. I'm sorry but I do not think it's a good choice at all to have a baby so young, wait for the right time, when you can really give a baby the life it deserves.

I'm not sure if this blog is still really up and running, but I'll ask you my question anyway.Okay, so, I'm 15, African-American, Christian, and I don't feel as accepted as I think I should be, mostly because I'm different from most of the girls in my race. I really like metalcore (bands like Pierce The Veil, Bring Me The Horizon, ect.). I still have the religious beliefs in god and whatnot. But, is that weird? Is there something wrong with me since I'm not really following what I should be?

Absolutely not. The type of music you like especially does not define your religious views or who you are as a person. Don't feel different just because you may not fit what you think that mold is, and definitely don't conform to try and fit it. As long as you know what you believe in, it shouldn't matter what anyone else thinks, keep your head up.

I like this guy but he is going to another high school. What should i do?

Well is it in another state or something? I understand where that would be hard, but if the other high school is relatively close then I don't see why it should put too much of a damper in the relationship!

Hi:) about a month ago I said I was being bullied for being in orchestra and bowling and that I had lost my two best friends. The advice I was given defiantly turned my life around. I've gotten one of my friends back (the other one is just a jerk). I've been a lot happier, and since I'm happier I've gotten all my grades up. I feel like if I hadn't said anything about what I was going through, I would be a lot worse than I was. I just really wanted to thank you guys. You really changed my life:).

So I like this guy and i told this "friend" of mine to tell him cause i thought they were close. She says she did nut he hasn't talked to me yet. What should i do? Plus i text him and he never mentions it.

Okay well first off, it's not the best idea to have a friend talk to a boy for you. He will most likely wonder why you wouldn't just talk to him yourself, and it just might come off to be a bit elementary school-ish. And the other thing with it, is that you never know what your friend will really say, if they say anything at all. So if you really want to make sure he knows how you feel, I would talk to him about it yourself. That way you'll really know that he knows how you feel, and you'll know exactly what's being said. It'll also score some points with him as apposed to having someone else talk to him. Good luck :)

ehh kind of.. not really, as you guys can see. I don't really know what to say about it.. I'm just the only one that's even apart of this blog anymore, and it's just not very high of a priority for me right now. which sound horrible, but I've just got too much school work to do all the time and when I'm not studying then I'm sleeping because I'm just exhausted from school. So yeah, it's just not really a priority right now. I'm really sorry ):

so basically i got pressured into going to prom with this guy. I didnt even want to go in the first place and i cant even have a 2 minute convo with this guy without feeling uncomfortable. i feel bad though because he actually is a nice guy but theres just something about the whole thing that i just dont want to do. Do you think you could help me think of a way to get out of going to prom without looking like a bitch to this guy or my friends? like me going somewhere or something like that??

well, are you actually willing to skip prom for this? Because if you're gonna tell him that you're going somewhere else then you can't really go to prom... In my opinion, I think you need to be honest. I completely get where you're coming from and why you might feel horrible for changing your mind, but it's not your fault that you don't have feelings for him! But it's not fair to either of you to go if you're not into him, because it'll lead him on and you won't have near as much fun as you should if you're with someone that you don't wanna be with. So tell him how you feel! just be nice about it, let him down easy. Tell him that you're sorry but that the feelings just aren't quite there, and that it just isn't gonna be as fun for either of you if you go together. but like thank him for asking you, tell him something about how it was so nice of him to ask you and that you really are flattered, but you just don't think it'll work. You need to do this because he probably had to muster up a lot of courage to ask you to prom, so you need to make sure he knows that you think that the effort & though was sweet. good luck girl :)

my boyfriend and i just recently broke up but when we broke up he said that its only a temporary thing because he can't handle being in a relationship right now. and he's told me on multiple occasions that he wanted to marry me so i believe him when he said that its only a temporary thing but why is it that whenever i see pictures of him on Facebook looking all happy and with other girls i get a sick feeling inside. i don't know if i should wait for him to be ready even though i want to. help?

Being perfectly honest with you, I think the whole temporary thing was just a way to let you down easy. I don't really believe that he plans on getting back with you. Now I don't know for sure, but that's my opinion. And especially if you're seeing pictures of him with other girls, you can't just keep being sad, you need to move on too. If he's willing to let you go, even if he says that it's just for a little bit, then he doesn't deserve to have you in the long run.

In short: I really like this guy. We have never met or talked. We're literally strangers. I go out of my way every day to try to sneak glances of him in the halls but I think he notices. I could never talk him because I know he knows and I'm so afraid he hates me even though he doesn't know me. What I'm asking is why does this guy and his opinion mean so much to me? Why is he all I think about? Why can't I stand to think of not seeing him everyday? What do I do? I'm so confused and I can't even.

Omg i'm literally in the exact same situation basically. But I really wish I could tell you, I don't know. I guess when we find people that we're infatuated with, we can't help but care what they think about us. It really is just how all humans are. I think that once you find someone else that you care about also that you actually talk to and really know that it'll be easier for you to not care as much what he thinks.

Hi um i kinda need some advice. (I'm in 8th grade, and I'm 14.) So there's this guy in my gym class and he likes me because he has told me and I KINDA like him back but the thing is that his best guy friend also likes me, and I think he's cute so yeah I like him a little bit plus he's funny. But I don't know what to do? They're bestfriends, should I lay off and not ruin their friendship? Also my friends don't like either one of them. Please help me?

Well if you don't really like either of them, then in this situation I would definitely say that it's probably better for you to lay off a bit. Because if you don't have major feelings for either of them, then you definitely don't want to risk interfering with their friendship, as that's not fair to them at all.

so theres this cute guy I know, we're not exactly friends but we talk. He's friends with a lot of my friends so I know stuff about him and I've realized we have a lot in common, and I actually really like him as a person, and enjoy talking to him. Problem is, hes REALLY shy/closed up and barely talks to anyone most of the time, so even though I want to talk to him more often I feel like I'd be annoying him and I dont, except when we're just the two (we go the same way after school )Any advice?

Just keep trying to talk to him! Not a ton, obviously, but try and get in little conversations here and there. Talking to him even when you feel like he doesn't want you to will definitely be less awkward than both of you just being silent the whole time. After a while, hopefully he will have warmed up to you a bit more, and he'll be more comfortable with talking to you. And if not, then it might mean that he's really just not interested. Which is alright! There's always another cute guy. But another thing you need to keep in mind when you think that you're bothering him is that sometimes the quietest ones are the ones who need a friend the most. So I can almost assure you that you're not bothering him.

There's this boy I've liked really much for a year now. We started texting this autumn, and at school we tease each other and talk very much. He really makes me feel better and makes me laugh, and I think I'm falling in love with him. I would like to tell him how I feel, but I'm afraid that if he wants to be just friends, then it'll never be the same if he knows that I love him. I definitely think you should let him know how you feel, but if you're really scared, then don't tell him that you love him. Just let him know that you're developing feelings for him, because love is a big thing for someone to take on. If you avoid telling him that you love him, and just tell him that you're starting to like him, then he'll be able to be more up front with you about how he feels. And if it doesn't work out, then oh well! It might be hard at first but I guarantee you that you'll find someone better for you.

I need some advice, I'm starting to have feelings for my best friend, but I don't want to feel this way about him, and he id with someone I just want to be friends and my feelings are really screwing with me I just don't know what I should do because I can't avoid him, because he's my best friend and all and I don't think I could even attempt to do it. Well, you can't help the way you feel. As much as you may not like the way you feel, it's just how it is. But I think that if you really confront your feelings, that you might be able to manage them better. I think a good way to do that would be to tell him. I know the thought of that is scary, but I promise you it won't be as detrimental as you think. Once you get the feelings off your chest and he knows how you feel, then it will be so much easier to keep those feelings under control, and hopefully move on to someone else.

So I've had ednos with anorexic tendencies since I was 12. I was a really chunky kid, like 190 lbs, and in 4 months I lost 50 pounds. I was over it, except for the past few months i'm struggling with it again. I'm 18 now, the skinniest I've ever been. I still have curves, big thighs, and a tiny bit of chub on my tummy. I feel disgusting. I exercise so much and try not to eat a lot.. I just don't feel skinny enough. I don't want to fall into this again... what should I do? :(

It's probably the hardest thing in the world to do, but you've gotta learn to love yourself. You need to know that people come in all different shapes and sizes, and that's okay. Of course, if there's something that you really want to change about yourself, and you can change it in a healthy way, then go for it! But otherwise doing things in an unhealthy way will do nothing but harm you. As I said, I know that all of this is so much easier said than done, believe me, but you're perfect the way you are. Even though you might not love yourself the way you are right now, somebody does. You will be okay, there's no need to harm your body.

hi. im the girl from about a week ago. i found someone at my school to talk to. his family is split too. i tried telling him to always keep in touch with his dad no matter what & he congratulated me on not talking to mine for a year. some kids in my class the next day made up a scenario that was mine to a T. they -and the rest of my class- laughed about it. my teacher told them all off, while i was sitting in my seat crying. no one noticed. thanks for the advice :) but i dont think it worked...

I'm so glad you found someone to talk to, but it doesn't seem like it's enough. You really need to talk to a counselor or a teacher or just someone that you know will actually make you feel better. And like i've told you before, I'm here for you also! I can give you my facebook or kik or something so that you can talk to me when you feel like there's no one else. But my point is, nothing is gonna get better if you can't get your feelings out like you need to, so please, try your hardest to find someone to confide in. I promise that once you find someone you're really comfortable talking with that it will make all the difference in the world.
