I find it ironic that in fashion magazines and anything feminine they tell tall women not to wear high heels. It’s a primal instinct that taller or larger animals are more powerful or stronger, and by telling someone that they can’t wear heels because god forbid they might be taller than a man, is actually implying that the women ought to be weaker or submissive and I don’t like it. The fact that it’s a societal norm that men are the stronger of the two genders (within factors such as intelligence, ability etc) is actually quite demeaning. Masculinity isn’t necessarily a good thing and because of these invisible rules we live by, the suicide rate for men is far higher than it is for women because they can’t express their emotions without feeling weak, and women experience blatant sexism,
