A serial killer dubbed “A.B.C.” is going after people in alphabetical order; an Ascher in Andover, a Barnard in Bexhill, and so on. An ABC Railway Guide is left at each crime scene. The killer is taunting Poirot by sending him disturbing letters, announcing where the next murder will be.
