Hello. This is a sideblog all about Love and Deepspace, with a heavy dose of Sylus. I write fanfiction about lads so if you have an ao3 account, you can find me on ao3 under the pseudonym little bomb (formerly infiltraitorN7). My inbox is open and I love to hear from readers and lads fans, but I don't have notifications on to preserve my sanity, so responses may be not be immediate. I follow from @escargoated so if you see a shrimp in your notifs just ignore them. A masterlist of the fic I've posted so far is below if you're interested.

Lastly, I love receiving comments and feedback on what I write and share, so please feel free to say hi and send asks and yell at me in tags. However, please don't feed my writing to any AI or LLM programs or plagiarize it.
I'm so endeared by the French term for a stray cat being "chat errant." This implies the existence of a stray knight. Or that a chat errant is searching for noble purpose.
Congratulations on finishing Time Undone!! š have you considered Caleb x Ruin the Friendship by Taylor Swift per chance šļø
I have and it haunts me
Thank you and of course!! The wistful nostalgic mood itself is already Caleb. Then the idgaf-ness for morality because you regret the missed chance so much and now they're not there anymore is so Caleb. He and MC would relate to the outro so much ("my advice is always ruin the friendship // better that than regret it for all time // and my advice is always answer the question // better that than to ask it all your life").
A snippet of my ever-growing Caleb playlistšš
ā”ļø Content warnings on fiction are a courtesy.Ā
ā”ļø Not every medium of fiction and storytelling has or is expected to have content warnings or extensive tagging.
ā”ļø Print novels do not traditionally warn for content in any way.
ā”ļø Until AO3 came along, fanfiction did not traditionally warn for content in any significant way.
ā”ļø An author is only obligated to warn for content to the degree mandated by the format they publish their fiction on.
ā”ļø Content warnings beyond the minimum are a courtesy, not an obligation.
ā”ļø 'Creator chose not to warn' is a valid tag that authors are allowed to use on AO3. It means there could be anything in there and you have accepted the risk. 'May contain peanuts!'
ā”ļø Writers are allowed to use 'Creator chose not to warn' for any reason, including to maintain surprise and avoid spoilers.
ā”ļø 'Creator chose not to warn' is not the same thing as 'no archive warnings apply'.
ā”ļø It is your responsibility to protect yourself and close a book, or hit the back button if you find something in fiction that you're reading that upsets you.
ā”ļø You are responsible for protecting yourself from fiction that causes you discomfort.
to anyone who has sent me ideas or musings, iāve read each and every one and some iād like to answer with at least short fics/drabbles when i get a chance. I have moved past being sad about the game itself (for the most part) and entered the acceptance stage of grief for a game that brought me so much comfort, and am looking forward to just dabbling in the ideas and characters themselves without looking forward to new in game content or supporting the company at all outside of fic and fandom. So thank you for sharing your thoughts and ideas. I hope to respond properly soon.
Oh wait the Helping you fall asleep fanart made me miss him even more that's so FF Sylus coded it's insane
I see it now Caretaker Sylus you were missed a lot in those ten years
Nodding vigorously, the artists in this fandom portray sylus in such inspiring ways, iām so thankful for their visions and willingness to share them because they express in just a snapshot what it takes me paragraphs to describe and are such great reminders of the vibe iām going for when i get lost in the words! FF sylus loving mc so hard to the point that sheās too exhausted to think and suffer from insomnia is perfection.
That magnificent Wifechu art made me miss FF Sylus so bad
I miss the angst, but the promise of a hea like that keeps me up at night
Will we ever see them "content" like that? š
It made me miss FF tooš wifechuās sylus ideas expressed through gorgeous art are top tier! Also excellent human being.
And yes: my plan all along has been to get to a āhappyā ending and to spend time showing it in a long epilogue at least. Content is the perfect wordārestful, peaceful, reassurance at every inevitable creeping worry. The summer period is almost over here, so Iām hoping to finally have a little time to write soon. I havenāt logged into the game in weeks (infold is making it easy tbh, but unlike a lot of other people, i love the home system when thereās new content and iām sad iāve never been able to cook with sylus, and the qixi outfits are pretty), and my hopes are diminished every day for infold to treat its playerbase with even a passing sheen of respect regarding valko and other complaints, but the LIs luckily live on independently in my head so theyāre mine now and Iām going to write them however i want. When i finally have time.
š°ļø- everything i see is about the guys as girl dads.. so zaynie gets a boy.
āļø- I POSTED TWO ANGSTS FROM DRAFTS TODAY, PLS LET ME REDEEM MYSELF
⢠everyone assumes heād have a quiet, well-behaved son.
⢠instead, he gets a tiny tornado with scraped knees, mismatched socks, and enough energy to power the city.
⢠somehowā¦
⢠zayne adores every second of it.
⢠he learns the names of every dinosaur, every superhero, every construction vehicle, and pretends he definitely didnāt spend his lunch break reading about them so he could answer questions correctly.
⢠his son thinks his dad knows everything.
⢠zayne never corrects him.
⢠ādad, why is the moon following us?ā
⢠āā¦thatās a very good question.ā
⢠cue a five-minute explanation that somehow a five-year-old actually understands.
⢠he teaches his son to tie a tie long before heāll ever need one.
⢠āwhy?ā
⢠āā¦because one day youāll want to know.ā
⢠heās constantly kneeling down to eye level instead of talking down to him.
⢠every conversation feels important because, to zayne, it is.
⢠if his son fallsā¦
⢠zayneās doctor instincts activate immediately.
⢠āwhere does it hurt?ā
⢠āshow me.ā
⢠ācan you move your fingers?ā
⢠meanwhile his son is dramatically sobbing over what turns out to be the tiniest scratch.
⢠zayne kisses the bandaid before putting it on.
⢠purely because it makes him smile.
⢠every bedtime starts with,
⢠āone story.ā
⢠somehow it becomes four.
⢠his son always falls asleep halfway through one, curled against his side.
⢠zayne doesnāt move for another hour.
⢠he knows heāll miss this someday.
⢠he keeps every drawing.
⢠every single one.
⢠thereās a folder in his office filled with colorful stick figures labeled:
⢠dad.
⢠his coworkers ask why he smiles whenever he opens that drawer.
⢠he simply says,
⢠āā¦my favorite artist.ā
⢠he never raises his voice.
⢠disappointment is enough.
⢠āiām not upset.ā
⢠āā¦i just expected better from you.ā
⢠his son cries harder than if heād been yelled at.
⢠five minutes later zayne is kneeling beside him.
⢠āeveryone makes mistakes.ā
⢠āeven you?ā
⢠āā¦especially me.ā
⢠his son wants to be just like his dad.
⢠so one morning he comes downstairs wearing an oversized button-up shirt, a toy stethoscope, and a serious expression.
⢠āgood morning.ā
⢠āiām doctor, too.ā
⢠zayne has to look away because if he smiles too hard, he might actually cry.
⢠heāll spend years teaching his son how to be kind.
⢠then one day, when zayne comes home exhausted after a long shiftā¦
⢠a tiny hand pats the couch beside him.
⢠ādad.ā
⢠āyou look tired.ā
⢠ācome sit.ā
⢠āā¦iāll take care of you today.ā
⢠and thatās the moment zayne realizes heās raised a boy with the gentlest heart.
