I started this blog after re-watching Lolita and as a way to keep my mind pre-occupied.

I am a fan of the 1997 adaptation of “Lolita.” because of the acting,fashion,and 1940’s aesthetic. My personal opinion is that “Lolita.” is not a ‘Love Story’ . That’s just my opinion though.

I also decided to make this blog to process some un-resolved trauma. I can relate to some of Delores’s experiences in the 1997 adaptation in certain ways.

Hey, have you ever read the book?? What's your opinion on it?? I don't really think any of the movies do justice to it

I absolutely loathe the book and had to skip numerous parts while reading it. I think the 1997 version got the closest to it. I tried watching the OG one from the 60s and it was so boring. I just couldn’t stand it.
