This roleplay was and is one of my favourite roleplays to date and I'm sad to see it go. It seemed too sudden. Maybe because we all never got Remily sex, which in it of itself is irritating that that ship never sailed.
You guys make me all really really happy and I want to bring you all together in a new roleplay someday. It'll be like a reunion. Maybe until that day we can get on these accounts sometimes, like you'll get a message a week in advance and we'd all go novum it up.
Like I said, I'm in denial.

Sirius laughed to himself as he pushed away from the Gryffindor table. There he was, sitting by himself, in deep thought about Remus’ problems. Sirius never would’ve thought that the day would come, where his friend would stand for himself and lose the one thing that kept him from becoming a full man. The curly haired boy was proud. He wandered over toward Lily as he saw her, “What?” He asked, as her reaction to seeing him wasn’t as he expected.
Lily raised her eyebrows at Sirius Black. She never really knew how to act around him- even though she'd known him for the greater part of her life. He was such a tornado, so impulsive. Sometimes Lily was like that too, but sometimes she liked to read. Lily felt like most of the time she didn't have anything in common with him other than a few friends and a curious attraction to Marlene McKinnon. Lily stuck her tongue out, saying, "Did you expect me to run into your arms screaming your name?"
I’m not the ignorant one. I have made a well informed decision. As for your gagging, I think that awful smell is coming from you. *snifs* Yea that would be the muggleborn stench.
Lily yawned on her way down to the Great Hall. She stumbled down the steps, slightly drowsy. It had been a long week, but an even shorter weekend. She just wanted to hang out with some friends or talk. About anything really. Sometimes Lily was picky with her conversations, but not tonight. She was about to avada-kadavera herself with boredom. She snuck past some knights in armor who look they could possibly begin to move and into the Great Hall, praying that someone would be there to occupy her time.

The pain of Lily’s contractions had been insufferable. She was glad it was over. But far more was over than she thought. As she held her baby boy for the first time, she cried. There was so much bubbling up in her, so much she couldn’t control. Fat, glistening tears rolled down Lily’s pink and freckled cheeks. He was so beautiful.
She had always wanted to have a baby boy, and Lily had opted to wait and see what gender he would be. But she always knew. Something in her always knew that her first child would be named Harry. And her last.
She smiled through the curtain of tears shading her eyes. He was beautiful. Lily planted kisses along her baby boy’s head, never wanting to let her go. She lifted her head and smiled at her husband. Remus had been there for all of it, so ready to be at her side through it all. When he leaned down to kiss her gently on the mouth, Lily felt euphoric. The familiar feeling of his lips on hers was like a drug to the young woman. When he pulled away, she gave him her most brilliant smile that had ever crossed her face.
Lily knew she looked like a wreck. She was sore, and her back hurt, and it was very strange to not have a pregnant belly. Her red hair was dirty and plastered to her face, and her normally porcelain skin was pasty and gaunt. But she was untroubled. Lily and Remus’s baby was as healthy as could be, he was beautiful, and he had Lily’s eyes. Harry was in tip-top shape. But Lily wasn’t.
Her next breath came with a sudden light-headedness that she couldn’t explain. It wasn’t the good type either. She handed their baby to Remus, who could barely hold in his excitement. He had been reading so many parenting books it was ridiculous, but that was Remus and that was her husband. Their relationship had never changed; no thrill or pleasure had ever left it in the years they spent together after Hogwarts. There was no question that the two would get married after that. Their marriage was small, but organized. Lily still got her hair done and a beautiful dress, with the help of her right and left hands, Emilia and Violet. Marlene and Ella had both helped her get ready and through the pain and joys of planning a marriage. She got them all matching dresses. Even Lily’s old friend Narcissa came with her child and an unwelcome Lucius Malfoy. But Lily didn’t argue because it was the happiest day of her life.
But nothing compared to the day Harry was born. Because it was the happiest day of her life. And the last. Lily looked up at Remus whose eyes were glued to Harry’s. “He has your eyes, Lilypad,” he told her without breaking eye contact with his son. Remus kissed Harry on the forehead, holding him close. Lily let a breath out slowly as the same brilliant smile came across her face. Pain wracked her belly and the smile turned into a grimace of pain. Lily closed her eyes. The doctors had told her that there would be pain and sore-ness naturally after the birth so she had been ignoring it. But she was broken. Not knowing it, a placental abruption had taken place. Hormones had been raging within her broken belly, and the supply of blood had not staunched. Lily began to hemorrhage, the blood staining the hospital bed. Her eyes were still closed and her frown twisted in pain. Lily moaned.
Vaguely, she heard Remus screaming for a doctor, she heard the physicians come in and try to help her. But by now the bed was stained the same fiery crimson of Lily’s hair and it was as bad as the killing curse.
She reached for her baby and without hesitation, Remus gave him to her. Lily knew she only had minutes- the realization was crashing down now. She kissed her baby boy and held him close to her, so close that he would feel her heart beating the blood that was spilling out of her, so close and more pressure would surely break Lily’s porcelain skin into a hundred pieces.
“Remus,” she rasped. Without question, he was there. He hugged her, kissed her, made promises that everything would be all right. Made so many promises he couldn’t keep that would haunt him for the rest of his life. But he was warm. So warm and Lily wanted to cuddle in his warmth forever. In the midst of all of the screaming and yelling which Lily realized might have been her shouts of pain, Remus was there. He was patching her up from the inside with his warmth.
“Take care of Harry,” Lily told him. She met his brown eyes and used her last ounce of strength to move her hand to cup his face. “I love you,” she told him, tears once again leaking from her eyes, “and none of this was your fault.”
Lily took a breath- her last- and sighed deeply. A thousand what-ifs crossed her mind in that second. What if she hadn’t been a friend to Emilia? What if she had been a Slytherin? What if she hadn’t met Remus? What if she married James Potter? What if she fell in love with her date from the masquerade as a seventh year? What if she hadn’t been so selfish and died on her newborn son and loving husband?
The pain subsided and Lily closed her eyes. She smiled and thought to herself that she hoped Remus would find another love. She new that he would raise Harry perfectly. She wasn’t worried.
Remus was left holding his son, looking at his dead wife, on the happiest and worst day of his life.
