Sect Leaders by How Likely Their Disciples Are to Accidentally Call Them âDadâ
Most Jiang sect disciples have slipped up and accidentally called Jiang Fengmian âdadâ at least once. Look at that archery lesson! Strong dad energy.
One notable exception is Wei Wuxian, who is so terrified that he might accidentally call Jiang Fengmian âdadâ where someone could hear that heâs constantly on alert for it.
By contrast, no Jiang sect disciples have ever accidentally called Jiang Cheng âdad.â However, at least one sleep-deprived disciple has accidentally called him âjiujiuâ after a long night wrangling Jin Ling.
Nobody in the Wen sect would dare accidentally call Wen Ruohan âdad.â Xue Yang called him âdaddyâ once, but that was on purpose to see what would happen â sadly, Wen Ruohan was too far gone at that point to notice or care, and the telepathic chokings neither increased or decreased in frequency or quality.
Itâs pretty rare for Lan disciples to call Lan Qiren âdad,â but he secretly loves it when they do; sadly, neither Lan Xichen nor Lan Wangji ever make this error.
Lan disciples will, occasionally, call Lan Xichen âdad,â but itâs usually not a slip-up in front of the class, itâs more of an on-purpose thing: heâs like âDonât forget, curfewâs in an hour!â and theyâre like âthanks dad!â
Nobody except Lan Sizhui ever calls Lan Wangji âdadâ but somehow they say âHanguang-Junâ in a way that sounds like âdad.â
Lots of people call Jin Guangshan âdad,â but not in an âaccidentally slip up in front of the classâ kind of way, more in a âsurprise, Iâm your bastard childâ kind of way.
No Jin disciples call Jin Guangyao âdad,â and this hurts his feelings and he secretly suspects itâs because they donât respect him.
No Nie disciples call Nie Mingjue âdadâ but every single Nie disciple has accidentally called him âda-geâ at least once. Itâs almost a rite of passage.
