So I made a video explaining and analysing some of Dworkin‘s book “Right-Wing Women”. Making this video was helped me to understand what she means in her writing. I love her work and find it tragic that we lost her too soon!

Jim Queen? More like, Jim P*mp!
This film is so problematic, from it‘s nearly complete lack of female characters to its portrayal of sexual assault. It makes itself clear that it is not queer but simply gay (men only).
The drag character (who was insulted at being addressed as madam) explains to us that this film has no interest in being LGBTQ+, they simply state that this is the G only. Gay white men is all this film is interested in portraying, along with a token black woman character who is insulted and sexually assaulted by Jim (he kisses her without consent and stares lasciviously at her breasts). Women are objects in this film, either back ground decoration or pieces of cellulite.
Additionally, there is no mention of trans men at all! In fact when Jim becomes more and more heterosexual, he repeatedly say „vagina“, reducing all people with vaginas to women. This is anti-queer and reduces trans men to women.
The framing of children was vile, all the children that are shown in this film are shown as disgusting. Eg a girl was shown picking her nose while her eyes were staring in different directions with a gay man who kept wanting children. Later in a pizza parlour, there was a child who also looked a mess and was eating food disgustingly, the child was drawn in a cruder way than the adults. The movie makes it clear that gay men are meant to find children disgusting. The worst part? These children look like they are possibly disabled, which added a level of ableism to the whole film that was bigoted. The film explicitly tells us that gay men find children disgusting, while forgetting that in the real world, gay men have fought so hard to be able to adopt children and give them a loving home.
Sexual assault: the scene were Lucien was strapped to the chair in the doctors office was assault. This is glossed over by the film, Lucien was not framed as being traumatised or upset, only at Jim. He quickly gets over it all when reunited with Jim later. Jim did nothing to redeem his trust. When handling sexual assault and attempted r^pe in films, it is essential never to frame it from the r^pist‘s view point, the film does this multiple times, we see Lucien‘s bare bum with the instrument. It’s vile, degrading and triggering for people who have experienced sexual assault.
The villain: of course the villain was the only older woman in a position of power in this film. Statistically, women are far more accepting of LGBTQ+ people than men (I am NOT saying that women cannot be homophobic, what I am saying is the male creator’s purposely chose the only homophobe in the film to be an older woman). This all suggests that women in positions of power are dangerous and should not be given access to these kind of places. Where was the male president? Why was he not stopping this? As if the health minister can just run a mock over politics. Her final scene on screen shows her being blown away and the creators decided to up-skirt her. This is degrading! Women are fighting so hard to make up skirting recognised as the crime that it is.
The showing of drug users as dangerous and disgusting is another outdated trope. In the drug den, we see emaciated naked men, shown as disgusting in contrast with the „acceptable“ gay characters, such as Jim. They are shown as less than human, rather than the victims of a system that has robbed them of their bodies.
The ending: from the start it is made clear that this film is pro-prostitution and pornography. Jim Queen acts as an advertisement for Only Fans, even mentioning the website explicitly. The ending sees Lucien (who was a virgin up until the end of the film) become prostituted out as the gay men having sex with him will now become gay again. This film attempts to make light of situations like Bonnie Blue’s. As if this man would not be abused, like the majority of people in prostitution. Also the men having sex with him are no longer gay, so they would be doing this with disgust. It is interesting that the weaker, more effeminate man is the one who ends up being pimped out, while Jim promotes what is happening to Lucien. The „twink“ trope is reductive and regressive, it creates a group of gay men who accept shabby and abusive treatment unquestioningly. While the bigger, more stereotypically masculine, Jim acts as a pimp who checks on his sex object in the tent.
Regardless of all these problems, the film itself self drags in the second half, even Jim states that he is bored of all the searching. And the characters do not develop past their stereotypical, hypersexualised, (literally) two dimensional selves. There is no learning curve for Jim, no one becomes better people. We start with self absorbed people and end with them too.
I made a video reviewing the Totally Spies show, boy I was shocked on rewatching this as an adult!
Is it a girl or an abortion?
Seriously, „boy mums/moms“ will jump up and down that their son would never do xyz to a woman, but the statistics are against them.
Boys will nearly always grow up to be misogynistic, it’s nearly impossible to avoid.
Boys learn from a young age that they are superior to girls and all other genders, male cruelty is rewarded in nearly all institutions.
Too many women I have met are in denial about their sons, even one that had to appear in court for a character reference after her son raped the mother of their child. They flat out refuse to accept that their sons are harmful to women.
Women romanticise mother hood so much to the point they ignore systemic male violence. Men commit the overwhelming majority of violent and sexual crimes. Your son is part of this.
So, is it a girl or an abortion?
(Note: I really love all children, this is about what boys are forced to become by society as behaviour is learnt. Boys are not born violent, they are taught to be disgusting and often do nothing to change that behaviour later in life)
It’s 2026, and we have a slur for women who complain (Karen) but not one for men who rape, murder and torture?
Ya know, i can understand why some people say bitch, cunt and whore are all slurs, but karen? A term specifically creates for middle aged white women in higher wealth brackets yelling at service workers is not a slur.
I have seen the slur Karen being used for women of all ethnicities, ages and classes. It’s a shut down tactic that men use to silence women for speaking up when they are uncomfortable.
Meaning even if it pertains just to the most powerful of an oppressed group (rich, white women) it still impacts all women.
"sabrina carpenter's intention-" sabrina carpenter is a marketing technique. her schtick was invented by a label (men) for mass consumption. they had a vision for a pop star to fill a market niche and hired sabrina for it. she has professional male songwriters on all of her songs, she's styled by men, produced by men, marketed by men. i guarantee that album cover was a man's idea. she's not some solo indie artist she's a product that men made to sell to women
It’s 2026, and we have a slur for women who complain (Karen) but not one for men who rape, murder and torture?
When I speak about abortion I hate it when other women say “yes, like I chose to have a baby”. It’s giving when straight people proclaim love is love about their relationship. No!
One is seen a deviation from the norm and is ostracised, while the other is expected and mandated. You having a baby does nothing to question patriarchy, it is literally what is expected of you. You are a walking womb to many men. Choosing not to have a child is still demonised to this day!
Capitalism makes monsters of us all.
When we buy clothes; who assembled these garments? When we upload things online; who put down the data centers? When we eat food; how much land was destroyed and who are the farmers who lungs are damaged by fertiliser and pesticides?
When speaking about the dangers and misogyny of kink and rough sex, and a woman says “oh but I like kink and when my man does X to my body” is giving the same energy as when men bring up male rape statistics when women speak about rape.
Both seek to silence those oppressed by violence. It undermines what is happening to victims as normal and that they should shut up and live with it.
Where does one find “feminist porn”? On porn websites that also host videos like “teen anal gangbang” and “busty Asian sluts” and “Ebony girl gets pounded”.
This is misogynist and racist propaganda and if you defend it you are misogynistic and racist.
When you watch a video on pornhub you have no idea whether the sex shown is rape or not. Even when it looks like a high production video. Why take the risk of watching someone’s rape?
Our society is more worried about male pattern baldness than male pattern violence.
Films like Anora, Poor Things and Bugonia only work in a society that hates rape victims.
These films are labelled as comedy by the men who directed them, they are laughing at women going through the worst point of their lives.
Their fall back excuse is: if you don't laugh, you're just too stupid to understand satire. No, I'm just too woke to find misogyny funny.
If you think the word “prostitute” is degrading to these women, wait till you find out what the men DO to these women.
Misogyny called by any other name is still misogyny 🥀
The very same people who recognise that the marvel movies are army propaganda, will proclaim that porn has absolutely no effect on people.
Porn is misogyny as propaganda.
