Lately there was a young boy that was shot and killed by a police office. He was 12 (I believe, not entirely sure)and was carrying a toy gun. Above is a real gun in comparison to the toy gun. The orange tip has been removed to make it look real. The boy was reportedly aiming the gun towards people like he was going to shoot them. The police men had a short time to decide if the gun was real or merely a toy. I do feel sorrow for the family of the young boy but I also feel that if I was a responding officer, I would have done the same thing. Police officers are given such a negative reputation in today's media and not many people focus on the good that they do.

I am not a feminist.

I’m not. And before you get angry at me, finish reading this post.

I am a gender equalist. I don’t believe in “all men”. I don’t believe that men only exist as a threat to women. I’m for women’s rights, the good and the bad. I’m for men’s rights, which most feminists don’t recognize. In child custody cases, unless you have some serious proof that the mother is some serial killer or drug dealer, it’s really hard for men to have equal custody unless the woman supports him fully. I don’t believe in feminism. I don’t believe that “women are people,too” is a radical idea. I believe the gender equality is the inherent idea that all people are people. Everyone, regardless of their X or Y chromosome, matters. I am not a feminist because feminism has gone from equal rights to misandry, and I’m not comfortable aligning myself with that idea.

Feminism

If you claim to be a feminist but have only ever advocated for the advancement of women and only women’s rights, then you’re doing it wrong. You little chumps now days claim to be feminists but yet hate men. I am not a feminist because of this. I think men are seriously disadvantaged in certain aspects and it’s quite sad no “feminist” will open their minds to that fact. Im an equalist, a fucking humanist. Fuck you.

I truly hate this generation of “feminists”. Being a Feminists originally was about getting equal rights, showing we can do all things a man can do, showing what we are worth. Feminists today, your ideology is to keep the male population down under your thumb and treat them as they owe you something. Men are now afraid to open doors for women, they’re afraid to pull the chair out for women to sit, they are afraid to be a gentlemen and are afraid to treat to women with respect because of you “feminists”. This is why I am an equalist, not a feminist.

A short memory

I once told a “feminist” about when I was sexually abused a few years back. She was completely insensitive and acted as if I was being “too dramatic”. No, I’m not saying all feminist are like this; but it does hurt to know that someone who says they stand for love towards all people and ending rape culture would act that way towards someone who is trusting them by telling them about something that haunts them everyday.

Why Equalist? Why not Feminist?

Why did I name my blog “Little Miss Equalist”? 

     The answer is actually pretty simple. In my opinion, “feminist” is directed mainly towards females. That makes me feel as if it’s a contradictory term. If I was a guy that wanted to promote equality, I would want a more gender equal term that I would be proud to call myself, instead of the term that is clearly directed towards females. 

Also, most “feminist” are complete hypocrites. //If you consider yourself a feminist and you’re not a hypocrite, then that’s great and this clearly is not about you in any way, shape, or form,// Most of the “feminist” that I know, say they want equality and that everyone should love each other but then literally 2 minutes later they’re calling another girl nasty names and throwing shade. Like seriously, what is that? They make the thought of being a voice for women across the world that have their rights diminished something to be laughed at and thought of as a joke. There;s also the extremists. They love to voice their opinion on any topic and conclude it with “everyone should love themselves” but the second you voice an opinion that’s different than theirs, they make you feel worthless and tell you to go kill yourself. It seems hypocritical and makes some girls not want to use the voice they have the opinions they believe in.

This doesn't mean that I'm against feminist, I just chose to not call myself that or allow others to.
