YOU GUYS IT’S DECEMBER 10TH YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND THIS HAS BEEN IN MY QUEUE SINCE FEBRUARY
i love it

VII took her free hand and placed it on Saffron’s back, rubbing small circles across it to calm him. It was something that her mother always did to her, so she hoped it would help. When Takame was finished speaking she just idly nodded, not taking her eyes off a spot on the floor as she did.
“Again, thanks.” Takame sighed, carrying Kititi out. Saffron’s shoulders dropped as he relaxed a little. “I-is she gone?” He asked in a raspy voice, still catching his breath.
VII nodded gently, leaning her head on his shoulder. “Mhm, she’s gone, you’re safe.”
Saffron nodded slowly and relaxed. “…I’m… sorry. If I scared you. I didn’t know what else to do to scare her off.”
"Well it worked...." She sighed, giving a strange smile, as if this was just the way life was. "It's alright....don't you worry about me."
"Goodness, Munch, when did you get so tall?" Ferara smirked, looking up at her. "You're even taller than me now!" [[Shoot I hope that's a good start]]
((It’s perfect))She squeaked. “I-I-I don’t know! It just happened!” She laid down and looked at him. “I feel like Godzilla!”
littlemunchypu:
“Goodbye.” He smiled, nodding a little. Since the small robot was mentioned, he couldn’t help but start thinking about him, which was a mixed bag of a thought process.
Ceeru took his leave just as yamiei came running outside. “Graaaaay!” He shouted. “Gray, Shahra’s not in his room! Did you see him come down?” A couple of police cars pulled up, followed by a fire truck. With the nets and megaphone, it seemed they were preparing for a roof jumper.
Gray jumped up, looking at the fire truck and such with great concern, his brown furrowed. “I-I don’t think he’s planning on using the stairs.” He was stark stiff, uncertainty and fear running through him, when he’d really like to be running himself.
“Wait, what do you mean?” Yamiei asked, looking about with confusion. Shahra had climbed the fence around the top edge of the roof, and was standing on the thin overhang between it and the open space straight to the ground. His fingers were laced with the chain-link wiring, and he was simply standing and hesitating. “Sir! Please, stay put and do not move, we are sending a fireman up to assist you,” one of the officers called over the megaphone. Shahra shook his head vigorously with an anxious look about him.
Gray pointed Yamiei in the right direction, before working himself up to do something. "You stay here with Sunthea!" He ran into the hospital, and up the nearest flight of stairs. His heart was hammering, but not from physical exertion. He was terrified, as he realized the world he had built up for himself would only take one thing to truly collapse. He found himself at the top landing soon enough, and his vision swam as he reached for the door and opened it.

“Love you~” He called after Yamiei, before turning to Ceeru. “I’m mildly aware.” He nodded. “Just don’t make her a point of fixation, and we’ll get along fine…but I assume you’re leading into another thought with that?”
“Of course. I don’t do fixations like Ginkou does. I probably don’t deserve it, but… I would like you to keep me in mind if her powers develop further, if possible. and only if it will be safe for her to attempt.”
“Oh of course, you’ve been a good friend to us.” He smiled, speaking for everyone on their behalf, whether they felt that way or not. “Just as long as you put up with the nick name Pinocchio for a little while after~” He chuckled.
“Haha, I guess I can manage. I get enough crap from Arkay and Kujak, it can’t be any worse than that.” He smiled good-naturedly. “And humans have such varied and rich lives… I wouldn’t just be stuck making facility repairs and tending to the hydroponic greenhouse all day. I could travel, get a job, maybe start a family… even dying a mortal death would be a grand adventure for me.”
Synthea listened intently, but cocked her head in confusion after a while, unable to fully comprehend.
“It’d be interesting to see how you’d start life from the middle of it. You certainly wouldn’t get any childhood.” He chuckled a little, trying to think how that would’ve effected his life. After a moment he looked at Synthea. “Something wrong dear?”
“I dunno.” She frowned thoughtfully. “Grown-ups are weird.”
Ceeru chuckled. “Sorry. I guess I got a little ahead of myself. Thanks for considering me, though. I really do appreciate that.”
“Well of course~” He smiled gently up at Ceeru, looking quite genuine. “You’ve been a good friend, when you’re about and all.”
“Thanks, same to you.” Ceeru smiled gently. “…I should get going, before Ginkou comes looking for me. I’ll keep an eye on him for you while I’m gone.”
“Alrighty, thank you.” He nodded and smiled back, holding his hand out for Ceeru to shake.
“Thank you, too.” Ceeru took his hand, placing the other over the back of Gray’s gently, and smiled as they shook. “…I’ll let Iku know you’re doing well. Goodbye for now.”
"Goodbye." He smiled, nodding a little. Since the small robot was mentioned, he couldn't help but start thinking about him, which was a mixed bag of a thought process.

Vii only glanced at her before turning to Anise, taking her hands gently. “You alright? Would you like to go to another room?”
“Y-y-yes p-please,” she managed out, wringing her hands. Saffron returned from the kitchen with a first aid kit to patch Kititi up, nonchalant as ever.
She nodded and walked down with her to the garage, watching her a little. She was certainly concerned for the woman’s condition.
Anise was shaking visibly. Her eyes were wide in a thousand-yard stare, fixated on the camper where she slept once it was in view. “I-is that girl going to be okay with him alone?”
“Probably. I can’t assure it, but he seems to be done with her. And while I don’t like what he did…my sister can probably assist her if requested.
“O-okay.” She gagged like she might vomit. “Nn… th-thank you, VII, you’re such a sweet young woman…I’m glad you let my saffy into your life…”
VII patted her back gently a little. “No need to thank me. He treats me quite well, and so Im willing to stay. I wish he was a bit sweeter though.” She smiled a little.
“M-maybe someday, he’ll follow your example.” She winced at the sound of shattering dishes, from the dining room and covered her ears, as if anticipating some shouting or something.
“VII, assis- ghk!” Saffron’s voice was cut off suddenly as he spoke.
“Hey! Kititi, off! get off!” Another man’s voice ordered. “Geezus! OFF!”
Vii ran up the stairs and poked her head out the door, not ready to rush in until she assessed the situation.
Kititi had her bat pressed tightly against Saffron’s throat with just one hand and was sitting over him, strattling his hips. even so, she was bigger than him and able to out-muscle him easily. Takame was trying to physically remove her from behind, and she wasn’t budging. It might’ve been comical if Saffron wasn’t choking to death.
Vii took it in for a moment, thinking of what to do before just finding the biggest frying pan and smashing it over Kititi’s head.
Kititi went limp, out cold. Takame pulled her off, and Saffron scooted away until he hit the wall, breathing hard. his face was red from exertion and lack of air, and the wild look in his eyes indicated a panic attack.
“I am SO sorry.” Takame put kititi on his back like a child, even though she was much larger. “Shit. Please don’t call the cops. She’s not usually like this, she must’ve stopped taking her meds. Is there anything I can do to make up for this?”
“No thank you sir, just keep an eye on her I suppose. She doesn’t seem like a bad person, but she has no limits with anything.” She frowned, sitting next to Saffron. “I’m sorry about all this as well.” She looked at Saffron, ready to help.
“Thank you for understanding. Keron, what happened to her arm, though…”
“My dog still has it, you’re fuckin’ welcome to try and take it from him if you want.” Saffron grabbed and squeezed VII’s hand, delivering the hostile statement with a blank, stressed face.
thankfully, Takame didn’t recognize Saffron from their short fight, as he remembered so very little of it. He shook his head, taking no offense to Saffron’s mannerisms since he could be the same way under stress. “…Don’t worry about it then, I’m bad with animals. I’ll just get her out of your hair. Thank you for being so patient and patching her up.”
VII took her free hand and placed it on Saffron's back, rubbing small circles across it to calm him. It was something that her mother always did to her, so she hoped it would help. When Takame was finished speaking she just idly nodded, not taking her eyes off a spot on the floor as she did.

Gray nodded and decided he felt safe introducing Ceeru to Synthea, but only if she was willing. “Hey sweetie, you wanna say hello?”
Synthea watched them shyly for a while, then nodded with a quiet peep. She took her sweet time exiting her pot, but Ceeru was rather patient with her.
“Well, hi, little one!” Ceeru smiled, genuinely excited to see her. He waved gently to gauge a safe pressure for his fingers to be at before he interacted with her.
She plodded up to him, tracking a little dirt through the blankets, and gently took his hand. The android sat steady as she bent and un-bent his fingers with childish curiosity, listening to the almost inaudible hum of his hydraulic joints. Finally, she nodded. “Daddy, the big mister’s made of metal!”
“Mhm~ Hes what you’d call an android, I presume.” He smiled. “You two are about as great of opposites as you can get around here.”
“Mm.” She frowned, her aura cautiously intermingling with the weak energy being put out by Ceeru’s Spark.
Ceeru yelped and yanked his hand back quite quickly. the synthetic skin on his fingers was burnt back where Synthea had extended contact to it, exposing real, flesh-and-blood fingers. they quickly fizzled back to bare metal without her influence. Ceeru rubbed his hand, wide-eyed.
Gray looked quite in awe, but after a while he gave a smile, still obviously confused, but pleased none the less. “Kids these days….with their..that.” Hw shrugged a little, a dumbfounded look on his face.
“Whatever ‘that’ was,” Ceeru said, looking back up at Synthea. “That was… amazing. There’s nothing in my cataloged memory that even comes close to that.”
Synthea peeped sheepishly, blushing a little. “I dunno. I fixed it. Did I do bad?”
“No, you did good. We just don’t really know what it is that you did.” He smiled. “Don’t you worry your little head, you’re doing fine things.”
“Okay!” She smiled, hopping outside to soak up some much-needed sun. the yellowing in her leaves caused by the strain of using magic was slowly and visibly repaired.
“…I can’t let Ginkou know about this.” Ceeru frowned. “She’s a wellspring, life incarnate. Ginkou’s been searching for that exact thing to ensure his immortality.” He sighed deeply, watching her. “…I’ll keep the secret safe. Just try to keep that gift under wraps as best as you can, or until she can defend it.”
“Oh really? Well alright.” He nodded, taking the idea surprisingly well, but then again he didn’t really understand what that meant, so it would probably hit him when it made more sense to him.
“You’re taking this oddly well as her caretaker.” Ceeru frowned. “You’re a brave man. Hopefully she turns out to be as strong as she is amazing.”
Synthea was finally able to produce the fruit. It was a round, orange-pink, fuzzy fruit, much like a peach. pure white life energy manifested all around it. She gently worked it free of the stem and cradled it thoughtfully in her hands.
“I hope so too, and perhaps I may be able to help her with that.” He smiled, before looking over at her. “Oh, nice job sweetheart~” He smiled gently.
“Thanks daddy. It’s for Shahra.” she sat in the grass, a few late dandelions around her opening up in her presence. in that moment, she seemed serenely content with herself.
“…Speaking of, I might go up and check on him,” Yamiei piped up. “I wanna make sure he’s okay this morning.”
“Alright, if you’d like. I think I’ll stay out here with Synthea, if you don’t mind.” He smiled up at Yamiei, obviously enjoying himself.
“Yeah, that’s fine.” He pecked Gray on the lips and gave him a little hug. “love you. I’ll be back soon.”
Synthea chirped, tilting her head a little as Ceeru observed her. “…You know, I’ve always been very interested in being human,” He commented.
"Love you~" He called after Yamiei, before turning to Ceeru. "I'm mildly aware." He nodded. "Just don't make her a point of fixation, and we'll get along fine...but I assume you're leading into another thought with that?"
