Shoutout to regressors with chronic pain who can't play or colour or get up to grab their stuffies or regression meals or agere gear I hope that your pain gets a little more manageable soon and I hope you know that you deserve the world regardless of your abilities 🫂
I LOVE MY PLUSHIES REBLOG IF YOU LOVE YOUR PLUSHIES
Sometimes agere is getting all your stuff ready to regress, and just sitting there doing nothing Sometimes agere is putting your stuffies, blanket, comfort items, snacks, etc., all snuggled up to you so you know they are right there if you need/want them (like a little nest) Sometimes it's learning to try again or try new things you would otherwise struggle with, knowing it's okay and being proud you were so brave
Sometimes it's grounding yourself during/after a PTSD episode, panic/anxiety attack, or scary situation. Finally slowing down and processing
Sometimes agere is letting yourself cry when you otherwise wouldn't
Sometimes it's using your toys/stuffies to act out appointments and things, so you feel more prepared for them
Sometimes agere is learning to love/care for yourself despite the way you've been treated
Agere is messy, sad/angry, happy/fun, good, bad, and all in-between. You aren't wrong for struggling, and you aren't a bad kid for having health issues or needing more than the average care. There's nothing wrong with wanting to cope (as long as you do it safely)

sometimes I mourn my younger days as a kid. is that what nearing your 30s is like? Just sobbing?? Because you can’t hug your younger self AND you WISH you could tell yourself you’re allowed to be a kid rn. Because rn you are a child that deserves patience, clear communicated, creative, well balanced environments where no one is yelling every night. Eat those sweets. Wear that unmatched outfit. Laugh loudly. You deserve to not have to be exposed to things that you can’t understand yet. You deserve the right to deserve something. I wish younger me knew that. But now I do.
For the littles who are black, you’re just as cute and important as every other little…
In honour of Black History Month, and also to my fellow black people in the cglre community, here are my boundaries and joyful moments of being a black regressor! Boundaries - I would never allow my caregiver to wash my hair in headspace. Non-negotiable. I have a high-maintanence hair routine that requires me to scrub my scalp. My hair gets tangled and HAS to be combed out thoroughly after a wash, then twisted or styled- that is too much for little me + I always take my time to do it while big. (If it was braided, that's a no too. Weave gets too heavy and only the scalp needs it) - My caregiver needs consent from me before they touch, or even style my hair. Again, need it fully combed out first + curly black hair isn't styled the same as straighter types, so they need to be educated and conscious of that. - No "monkey" as a nickname (self explanatory lols) just say koala or smthin else. Same goes for anything like "chocolate" or "caramel" that's just plain weird. Joys - Being able to style my hair however and decorating it with beads, clips, everything - Being able to use weave (fake hair) however! (especially pastels omg)! - Love me a good black doll, just something about the representation is mwah - Seasoned food. I know I see so many little meals that are bland safe foods, but gimme all the flavors, don't matter how small I am! - The music culture- I feel like it's probably part of why I am a HUGE music baby that loves dancing and upbeat rap/bass-y type songs. (yall dont get me started on gracies corner...I love my veggies! /ref) - AAVE! (African American Vernacular English aka black people slang) I loveeee it. I feel like I dont rlly use it when little? But it definitely is a big part of my casual vocab when bigger. - CURLY HAIR! ok ik ik- but it's so fun and just cool! I love it sm!! I just think it looks so floofy and cloudy and it makes me feel very soft and pretty :D In short, let's celebrate our differences and support the similiarities! Black regressors, cgs, flips, and everyone in between- you're not alone! I wish you guys knew how HAPPY I get when I see one of you in the wild, just because we're rarer doesn't make us any less :)
Black History Month moodboard <3
Happy Black History Month, esp to all Black regressors!
black regressor moodboard !!! 🛁🫧<3
we don't get enough representation in the agere community and it can feel really discouraging sometimes !!! especially when you have different nostalgic regression when it comes to getting your hair done, the music you grew up listening to, and rarely seeing other black characters in your favorite media >< but we are here and we are just as valid as everyone else !!! you are loved and seen !!! <3 sincerely a fellow black regressor <3 ^_____^🐛
black age regressors, do yall have caregivers?
