LPS Play Rugs!

Look at that cute little plush it came with! Unfortunately, the information on this is so little that I'm unsure of the year it came from. One listing stated 2009. I do know however that there were two other release variations! One with the plush above and the other with an unnumbered LPS!

The other play rug is a bakery! it's so freaking cute, look at the circle thingies at the ends <3 It doesn't look like it came with any pets or plushes; rather, paper cut-outs of pets and food! From what I've seen it came with a mouse, panda, and penguin cut-outs :-)

Guess who found the manufacturer!~ SO! I found out that the rug was a Kolh's exclusive (thanks @lpsviolette!) and that the Play rug with the plush and the Play rug with the unnumbered blue bunny lps may have been released in different years. The Bunny Play rug has the LPS logo that was used from 2007-2010

Whereas the Plush and Bakery Playrug uses the LPS logo from 2009-2012 That does mean there is a two-year gap where they could have been released at the same time or released separately from each other. There was an eBay listing that stated that it is from 2009. (for some reason I couldn't view this on American ebay, only French Canadian ebay even though it was a listing from California. Unfortunately only one photo was available and the others wouldn't load properly)

On to the manufacturer! It's by G.A. Gertmenian & Sons!

Finanlly, there's sadly no more information on the Bake shop Play rug besides for the fact that it has the 2009-2012 logo. There's BARELY any photos of it and they're all mostly of past listings. HOWEVER. However. I did find one current listing (well two but it's by the same person, one selling the pieces and the other selling it all together)

You're right about the first one! Toysisters and Lpsmerch state that it is Kolh's exclusive! That brings a definite chance for the Bakery play rug to come from Kolh's. Sadly, since it didn't come with a pet, the chances of finding its source are less likely. What would help with this search is a date of the original rug and contacting people who own it to ask where they got it! There's a chance using the way back machine to see if it was listed on their site

There's only two (past) listings of this guy and no other photos I could find :( One of them happened to be from Austria! I vaguely remember some LPS plushes that looked like LPS VIP plushes were produced after LPSO's shut down or without codes but from the ones of that line, there's none of this dude

LPS Playmat Hopscotch!

These guys are exclusive to France as far as I know! The only sitings I've seen of them are strictly from French sources. The EU has a lot of exclusive LPS merch interestingly enough.

I adore the style, the colors, and the softness it just feels so much like childhood.

Arguably the most recognizable lps plushies are the VIP line, so finding out about the older lps stuffed animals has been a wild ride. Espesically these bad boys which are... a bobble-head stuffed animal

First-time ive seen anything like that!

They were made somewhere in 2005 and there's no soild information or wiki one them that I could find. There two waves, all regonizable as they are modeled after the first 100 pets! THERE'S TWO MORE! This fluffer is from 2005 which makes me question what wave it came in? Was there more than 2? Or did it belong in the other waves and was documented well?

This guy is maybe based off of this unnumbered bun from a tube pack. The only issue is the difference of ears. Maybe they couldnt get it upright? the eyes are also different colors. It dosen't make much sense because so far the 2005 bobbles are extremely precise and accurate to their original designs

This one is a Bobble bunny from. . . 2009? This is the ONLY pet I know of from 2009 of the bobble variety and it brings the same question as it's 2005 bunny friend.

Update #2 The Poddle bobble must have had another release like a lot of LPS do back in the 2000s as this one comes with a bag!

A lot of LPS would be reused in other play sets and as these do not have another Toy company listed, they're directly from Hasbro.

There is the monkey but with a flower and flower lei!

Littlest Pet Shop Plush/Stuffed toy time! Similar to my last post, we have another locational LPS from Australia. This is made by Ptoys/justpremium which I can find jack and shit on the American side of google. The two I've seen by them is this pretty kitten seen on a lot of art and this grey pupper that honestly could be based on a lot of dogs

the cat. IS SO PRETTY. GRAHHHH!!! 43cm of adorable and produced in 2008. Unfortunately, they do not have their own pet, only used for box and merch art </3

They look so sad in this one :(

the dog. the dog has no thoughts or FEELING. only apathy. He was made in 2008 according to the seller and size unknown but was put next to a... clothless barbie for size?

They do both have key chain versions! The dog keychain is filled with feeling and love and everything happy. 15 cm of pure friendship

joyous lad and their sassy friend What makes the cat keychain especially interesting is the only image of them is from a Carousell listing is Malaysia! FIRST MALAYSHAIN PLUSHIE IVE COVERED! Sadly the listing is only for pick up. I cant say that they are from Ptoy as this cat is from multiple box art so the chances of another company making a similar one is not impossible. That being said they are pretty much exact, only less detailed. If you have any information on them as well as Ptoy/Justpremium company, please let me know!

Some updates! I was able to access PicClick AU! YIPPIE! There are TWO more LPS plush in the Ptoy/justpremium serries A monkey! They have such a cute bow with a flower on it! And look at that scarf <3 it has butterflies on it! Date unknown

There is another variation which is the exact same model but without the scarf and... IT'S A BACKPACK! It's from 2008

The second pet is this pretty buttercup-colored pony from 2008

They also have a backpack version that. oh my fucking god. the zipper is on their ass. you shove your hand up their ass.

Not only that, but I found more keychains! all the same as their full-sized counterparts. This officially confirms the cat plush is Ptoy and was produced in 2009 in Australia and maybe Malaysia.

This does beg the question, do the cat and dog have a backpack variation? Let me know if you've seen them!

Nanco has made a couple of Littlest Pet Shop Plush/Stuffed toys for carnival prizes and claw machines from 2007 to around 2010. Unfortnatly there is ZERO photos of them in carnival stalls and its not sure how many exist. So far from what I've seen is this beautiful fuck from 2008. based on LPS #641

This lil long guy from.. unknown date :,) but is most definetly from Nanco due to the odd orange loop on the back of their nape which all Nanco LPS have. Typically I can find the date on the tag but out of the two photos I have found of them, the tag is blurry. It's maybe based off of LPS #111?

Silly goofy ass ginger kitty from 2008. I was only able to find two sources of this guy, an ebay listing with a couple of photos of different angles and one photo from Indian amazon, interestingly enough! I think it's based off of LPS #114 but thats a huge maybe

just look at the GRIP this dude is grabbin this butterfly with. . . From 2007 and based off of LPS. maaaayyybe based off of LPS #202 but there is quite a few differences

Lastly, this guy, which I dont actually think is Nanco but it was listed as one. Any image reverse search and search terms bring up nothing. This is the only photo I could find, if there was a back view I could verify but unfortunately there isnt :( what makes me severely doubt its nanco it it's embroidery eyes- though, the octopus from 2009 did... So, who knows! It gives me 2017 LPS vibes.

Now this is interesting! Probably the only raccoon littlest pet shop plush! Based on LPS #196

When i saw this I immediately assumed Nanco. Everything from the eyes to the orange loop on it's nape. but nay. Its a Hunter Leisure! This is the first time I've heard of them making LPS stuffed toys. and frankly the first time I've heard of them at ALL. and there's a reason for that!

with the description stating the Ladybug and Cat were from Hunter Leisure. And thus began my search. Say hello to the Hunter Leisure Littlest Pet Shop 20 CM stuffed toys

It consists of four plushes all based off of existing LPS and produced in 2012. I don't know if they were sold in carnivals but given the packages and design of the packaging implies they were sold in stores. If you happen to own one of these guys and remember buying them, please let me know! LPS #1864

Something to note about this cat is that there is a 18cm version of them which happens to have a tagged ear unlike all the others and was produced in 2013 rather than 2012. However, I do have to note that some of the 20cm pets do measure to 18cm so they very well could be 20cm in theory.

Unfortunately, due to being locational in Australia, the likelihood of getting my hands on that cute raccoon kitty is low. Not only that but actually finding listings and information on these guys was harder than normal. There's a specific website called PicClick AU that has pictures of littlest pet shop plushes which I cant access in the USA. This also applies to the Hunter Leisure website is accessible but certain pages are member-locked (ie the LPS page). If you can access any of these pages please let me know!
