Some secret sauce for nicer lineart

Another quick walkthrough, as requested! This is a trick I use to make lineart look smoother in coloured pictures.

Let’s say you have a lineart.

Make a copy of the lineart layer. 

Apply a Gaussian Blur filter to it (normally I set the radius as 20px). 

Lock transparency, then fill the layer with red.

4. Set the red, blurred lineart layer to “Linear Burn” mode. 5. Adjust transparency until happy. And it’s done!

That’s my little shortcut. It should be easy to achieve on most painting programs, but if you use SAI you’re out of luck. Then again, there’s always GIMP, Krita… or CLIP Studio Paint >:D
