Trespassing || Vamp!AU || Aphrodite & Aurora
In Aphrodite’s eyes, this particular vampire deserved no respect. It mattered little that she was from the European clan; what mattered was that she knew how tense things had been lately when it came to the treaty, and still decided to pin the attack on the Greeks, intentionally or not. Had it been one of the other vampires, especially the ones around for the war, she would have been ripped to shreds on the spot. Some part of the clan leader told her to do so anyway. It was the same part that was bitter over the many lives lost at the other clan’s hands. But there was a reason she was the leader. She had common sense on her side, and could hold off on petty revenge when hundreds of lives were at stake. (No pun intended.)
"Look at you, performing the simple task of recalling a name,” she snapped, caring little for how rude this blonde—Aurora?—was. Grovel, she wanted to tell her. Beg for your life like so many of my own have. Let me deny you that one courtesy. But no, she didn’t want it to come to that unless it was completely necessary. “I did not need to. I saw enough.” Aphrodite crouched down as though she was ready to pounce at any second, eyes narrowing pointedly at the other before darting towards the creek. The hunters wouldn’t give up. They had probably gone to take care of the wounded one, but they would be back, and they would be back with a vengeance. “You attacked one of the men and crossed the border. That is breaking the terms of our agreement, in case you’d forgotten.”
A heavy sigh passed through Aphrodite’s lips. This wasn’t the same as the other times vampires had crossed over. Those had been fledglings who were dared or teenagers who had a lapse in judgment or simply someone who was tired of peace, and they could all be dealt with accordingly by either side. This couldn’t have been any of those, as the female before her seemed sensible enough. In truth, she hadn’t seen enough of what happened to know how to punish Aurora. She had no idea that the fellow blonde was being starved out. All she knew was that a problem had been thrust into her hands, and she hadn’t a clue how to deal with it. Well, no. There was something she’d wanted to do since witnessing the scene.
Lifting her hand in what looked like nothing more than an ivory blur, Aphrodite struck the vampire before her across the face—hard. “I’m going to start with that.” The sting in her hand was empowering, reminding her of how good it felt to be in a fight, to sink her fangs into skin and rip, to taste the blood of another on her tongue. She clenched her fist to get the thoughts out of her mind, one corner of her lips curling into an instigating half-smile. “And then we can decide where we go from there.”
The vampire rolled her eyes before following the other clan leader. She stayed at least a few feet away from her as she did so. It was bad enough that she had crossed the borderline-- the blonde didn't need other members of the Greek clan becoming an issue to her as well. This clan leader was barely tolerable anyways. So seeing them even the slightest bit together would create even more chaos since the two clans were never friendly with one another. Making it high suspicious that the least likely two interact with each other.
However, when Aurora felt a sudden sting upon her cheek her demeanor changed quickly. She deserved it for crossing the border, but it was a different "punishment" than what her clan did. At least from that small action. Mostly the European clan would hang those above a fire, lowering and lowering them slowly as a threat before either deciding they were to stay or the leader would call for the Princess-- who was skillful in making quick and precise movements-- to snap or rip the head off the punished vampire. Aurora didn't like it, but it was better to be the punisher than the one being punished in front of the whole clan.
It took much self control for the blonde not to quickly move in a swift motion and snap the leaders head off. But Aphrodite was exactly that-- a leader. Killing those of higher power than your own served a much more cruel and punishment. Her lips tightened and her eyes turned once again into it's bright red color. Only this time from anger and not hunger. Do not anger her, you will only create trouble for the clans and mostly--for yourself. "I deserved that." Aurora admitted, only to please the vampire before her. "However, until those hunters have given up and do not continue their hunt... I can not return to my side." If they had found her at this time of the night, surely they knew of the rest of the places the clan hid. "We move now or we stay here like sitting ducks." And with that, Aurora raised a brow at Aphrodite and started taking her own steps towards wherever.

I’m putting Aurora on a hiatus for awhile. I don’t know but she hasn’t been fully around these past few days and I'm thinking because I'm starting school again, she's starting to disappear. Hopefully once I've gained her muse again I’ll be back. You can most likely find me on my ooc blog and/or my Hebe rp blog.

Young women from a very young age are taught that life will be easier if you can just turn on the charming smile and say very little and be complacent and docile and sweet. - Amber Heard
Your first impression of me? (Anonymous or not)
"Alright, food it is then. Food is always good." Speaking of food, Eros was beginning to get hungry now. By the time they were done visiting the Empire State Building he would’ve worked up an appetite. "That won’t be necessary. A gentleman always pays on a date." He offered a smile, and a second later he realized what he’d said and his eyes went wide. "I didn’t mean this was a date… I just meant— I mean, if you’re fine with it being a date, then why not, right? But I don’t mean to say it is. I just —I’ll just keep my mouth shut now…”
The blonde was taken back at his assumption that this was a date, but couldn't help but smile and giggle at his rambling. "It could be a date." Aurora retorted, a smile still appearing on her face. She didn't mind if it was, though she's never actually been on one. She was betrothed so there really was no courting between her and Philip before their marriage. But then their marriage fell apart, so probably courting would have helped. "Of course, if you don't mind it. I surely do not, it's just us enjoying each others company."
… this life gets bitterly cold. Sometimes, you just need to cling to the person that you can claw your way out of the dark with.
