I feel as though most girls go through some kind of trans phase. Whether you actually felt dysphoria regarding your changing body or even just being a boyish little girl who doesn’t conform to their environmental expectations so you start wishing to be a boy. Shoutout to my female relatives, one had the nonbinary look & trans Tumblr brainrot due to a raging misogynistic father :-) And the other was super infatuated with Justin Bieber and you might think that’s normal fan girl behavior, but she didn’t want to be with him she wanted to be him lmao. Well turns out she was just a closeted lesbian with a homophobic father #live laugh love. Personally I never felt happy living as a girl (shoutout to my absent father) but not in a transsexual way more in a I just always knew life would’ve been easier being born a man.

So since I was stuck living as a tween (13ish)girl. My bff at thw time somehow managed to convince me to play Blockstarplanet (its like MovieStarPlanet but make it roblox) but we didnt just religiously start playing it daily for hours we both had made our accounts to look like they belonged to boys. And since there were way more girls on that website we got pretty popular and had tons of female attention LMAOO brother it was all I imagined being a boy must feel like. It got so addictive especially when my bff started building skins and worlds that were used a bunch it shot her up to celebrity status and since I was the boy best friend I was also known quite a bit. It all just kept escalating until she got into a relationship with another player and encouraged me to also find myself a girlfriend so we could be the cool friend group xD So I did and we soon made fake instagram accounts and we talked for hours on end with these girls. And they genuinely believed we were boys cause we used our classmates insta pictures instead of Pinterest boys. It honestly felt kinda evil after a while cause they had both fallen in love with us (as much as a 13 yo can thru online dating lol) After a while we were in the top 10 highest levels and that got us too much attention and everything started to fall apart. It didn’t help that those were older kids who made us shit our pants by simply saying I found your ip address and I know you’re a girl. We deleted our accounts so fast once people started talking lol. Since deleted accounts used to still remain up we had comments filled with people wondering what happened and other exposing us as liars. To this day I don’t regret a thing except lying to Jane my gf💔 girl if you’re reading this im gay now so you were definitely a part of that journey to Realisation. Also let’s not forget that the girl friend that had the idea in the first place also had a deadbeat abusive father who didn’t make her feel worthy as a female WHO WOULDVE EVER GUESSED ???

I was quite surprised to find that people still use it, a very small amount of people but people nontheless

My first time operating CCTV cameras I was handed control over what was essentially 50 independently moving eyes that collectively covered an area about the size of a football field and from that experience I now know that

Suddenly having 50 moving eyes can make you disoriented and barfy and the adjustment period sucks ass

It takes both more and less time than you’d think to figure out what the structure as a whole looks like and where those eyes ARE

After you get used to it the entirety of the structure itself and all of the eyes you can see from feels like an extension of your nervous system in a very bizarre way. Like I have dreams now from the perspective of A Building and I’m not sure how to describe that.

Once you are aware of an unreachable blind spot it nags at you constantly and you can feel it like a hard little lump under your skin you need to poke and scratch at and it’s ardghgguychgghhbhhhbhhh

I enjoy a joke about fucked up German fairy tales as much as the next nerd, but it's genuinely striking how often the source for the really fucked up stuff turns out to be "yeah, this is only in the Brothers Grimm version and doesn't appear in any extant oral tradition, and we're like 80% sure they added it themselves". To a large extent it's not German fairy tales that are fucked up, it's two specific German dudes.

I have had the second and third books of agggtm on my kindle since season 1 came out because I had read the first book after watching the show.

I finally started reading the second and then ended up finishing both in like 1 week.

I enjoyed the trilogy a lot ngl, it's such a good series and watching how everything comes full circle in the end and Pip's journey was a RIDE.

I didn't even realize that season 2 was coming out a few days after I finished the second book.

Ended up binging the whole season yesterday and if S1 was not terrible but for sure not at all comparable to the book when it comes to enjoying it, I liked S2 a lot more. I saw that the author was behind the writing of the season and you could tell.
