Neeeed to talk about oomfs tags. YES this man pulled a fucking macgyver its ok to say hes autistic because he is. Or listen let me be politically correct about this, we’re not armchair diagnosing or anything… I remember being maybe 7 or 8 and watching an etho video, and having a revalation moment of “wow, his brain works just like mine!” As i watched, I observed how he communicates (or fails to communicate) with people, how he expresses himself, the struggles he mentions and the ways he overcomes them. Not to mention his intonations and the way people misunderstand him. As I continued to watch, the more I was *so sure* that our brains worked in an incredibly similar way. Fast forward to now: surprise!! I have autism. And I still relate on such a deep level to just about everything etho says and does, from his building process to the way he speaks. So not trying to DIAGNOSE HIM. but. He reminds me an awful lot of myself, thats all im saying.

sometimes i think about etho taking his desk setup pic. he must have cleaned so much shit off before taking it because i KNOW that man is leaving crumbs and shit. and so he takes the picture and then stares at it for at a minimum ten minutes trying to make sure nothing identifiable is in frame. and he looks at his STUPID computer wallpaper and shitty mousepad and that fucking tissue box and he thinks. yeah i can share this with the world. YEP OK THATS WHAT IM SAYING THANK YEWWW. My initial memories of etho are thinking about how much I related to him, from the day to day struggles he talked about, to the way he interacted with his former server mates. And then I found out that I'm autistic and all of those behaviors started clicking into perspective. So etho... what do you have to say about that T-T

Do you know where the info that Etho was in a band is from? I like to think i remember most of the facts we’ve gotten about him over the years but i don’t believe ive heard this?

This question made me spiral and search ethopedia because I was like... This felt like something he mentioned offhandedly in cubeworld or something (something around that era, I mean). And then I was like ok actually when DID he say this. And then I searched ethopedia (now called ethofyi or something- i used the wayback machine though lol). And as I continued to scroll i found NOTHING and I thought I was going crazy (which I very well may be.) But then i searched for a thing that I knew for a fact he said, and I couldn't find that either, so maybe my sources aren't 100% reliable LOL. Anyways, my best bet is he said it in response to some QOTD, but I have no proof of this because I couldn't find the clip T-T If anyone else remembers this please help because I feel like im going crazy xD.

so it just hits extremely hard to me that etho's office chair has a quilt on it (I know lots of people who make quilts and I imagine he either was given it by someone with a lot of time on their hands or made it. so yknow there's that)
