Acrylic on canvas
This is a commission piece that Iâm extremely proud of.
âwe all know whyâ just say itâs because theyâre white. say it out loud with your whole entire chest. trump supporters arenât being stopped from storming government buildings because THEY! ARE! ALL! WHITE! thatâs it. just say it.
Donât forget that it isnât just that the rioters are white, itâs that the COPS are white, are right-wingers, are tr*mp supporters. The cops are letting the rioters in. The cops are moving the barricades for the rioters. The cops are literally taking selfies with them. It is an inside job. The cops are part of it.

My brain cannot comprehend this post, yet I fell it in my heart to be true
:( I never go on here anymore and the one day I do I see something that makes me super anxious and overthink
Congrats to us, America - now let's go fucking bully Biden
I was thinking about how âGrinchâ and âScroogeâ are words for people who hate Christmas but arenât exact synonyms and then this chart happened.
im going to come out and say it: isolating is a self-destructive behavior. it might not be as obvious and immediately self-destructive as say, impulsive spending, drug use or risky behaviors, but it gradually decays relationships and can deepen your mental health issues. often, our impulse is to retreat from others and responsibilities for âself careâ or to âwork on ourselvesâ and obviously sometimes we need mental health breaks, but thereâs a line you cross from âtaking a breakâ to full on neglecting your relationships with others and your social needs that can be incredibly damaging to yourself and others over time
cis people are having a little too much fun with the "all nb ppl listen to mother mother" and "all nb ppl have stupid weird names" jokes
hope all my girls do something beneficial for their mental health today
am I the only one who doesn't despise gold diggers? honestly if some old rich guy wants to spend money on a younger woman otherwise out of his league she's not the one to blame. these guys are 90% creeps so might as well take their money
this is similar to guys who complain about women making money on onlyfans. if men are willing to pay for that stuff why the fuck is it the woman's problem?
The entire concept of a gold digger is just sexist remnants of the time where women made it a point for their husbands to buy them jewelry. Not because they were shallow, but because it guaranteed them a degree of financial independence in a system where they couldnât own any land or inherit. A husband who would not provide such when he is capable of doing so, is a husband who doesnât want his wife to be able to leave him.
As long as both people consent to it (and are fully capable of doing so), then thatâs their own business

So the US presidential debate must have been pretty bad tonight. đ
Reminder to Americans: It can take years to legally move to Canada, especially with COVID and the border being closed to most Americans (with potentially massive fines on top of being deported if you lie to get in). We arenât US-lite and Americans donât get preferential treatment when it comes to immigration just for being Americanâyou have to join the queue with everyone else.
Also Canada isnât the Utopia you all think it is. It only looks âgoodâ because we compare ourselves to the USA all the time (even in cases where Canada is objectively worse than the USA). Better than the USA isnât actually a good benchmark for progress or equality.
All of this is Canada and all of it happened in the past 24 hours:
Every systematic problem America has, Canada has too (income inequality, violent racism, misogyny, LGBTQ discrimination, etc). We just hide our bigotry a bit better.
Heck, half the time thereâs zero attempt to hide it since police and politicians know people will compare Canada to the US and/or American news will effectively hide it for them.
Itâs not hard to look good if your neighbourâs house is in ramshackles while you got a new roof and paint âonlyâ 20 years ago even if both houses have so much structural damage that theyâre hazards to anyone who lives there.
Also our federal government is only left when compared to US politics. Functionally and realistically itâs centre or right-wing, depending on the party in power. And more and more Conservative politicans have moved from moderate to low-key American Evangelical in their thoughts and actions to fans of Trump, with multiple provinces being run by Trump fans, some of whom are so bad they actually make Trump look (slightly) less evil in comparison.
Canada: We only look good because the US makes a flashier deal of how bad things are there.
