I have started court of the dead (finally) and out of pure delusion I saw the spine art of my book (witch has griffins) and my mind said:

“huh griffins you know who is linked with griffins? Lityerses, matter a fact he saves them, sleeps with them in the barn and takes care of the baby so he must be in the new book!”

I’ll report back if he is mentioned at all
