Altered Carbon (5/5)

Just finished watching Altered Carbon S2! It’s so good! I highly recommend it to those who particularly love action movies/series. The screenplay is original asf and all the characters were unique and had development throughout the series. Kudos to Laeta Kalogridis!!! This has to be one of the best series I’ve watched on Netflix, if not the best.

Poe’s character is my favorite! Chris Connor did a good job in portraying him. He wonderfully complements Kovacs’ strong and stubborn character, which I think what makes them work well together as partners. I also love how he got his name from Edgar Allan Poe.

don’t neglect yourself because you think you should be grateful or your life seems nice compared to many others. if you’re feeling sad, you don’t need to justify it to people. it means you have needs that aren’t being met or something is missing that you need to acknowledge. don’t compare how big or small your reasons seem. so don’t write off your sadness as nothing because you’re guilty. you deserve to have feelings and accept them. your feelings are real and you deserve to be as kind towards yourself as you would to anyone else.
