An Author's Note...

Here we are at last, you and us, on the last blog post. Am I feeling a little sentimental after an entire year of sharing this mad blogging rp adventure with @liv-chenka? Yes, totally! It's been truly mad for me, writing Helen, The Red Lady, Tania and many others.

There have been feelings from all over the spectrum but eventually it was a journey I am glad we took. There have been many adventures from start to finish... the Paris trip, The Red Lady's Halloween, and the girls getting together with an improvised engagement to boot. Those are mere highlights and all of them have been fun. Watching it all unfold and the community engage with it has been more than we could have hoped for when we started.

I want to give a massive thank you to everyone who has interacted with or has otherwise enjoyed this blog over the year. The blogs will be staying up as an archive to browse through, unedited and complete. A testament of our love for these characters and the community that loves them.

To my dear friend @riversofmars: this wouldn't nearly have been as much fun as it has been without you. Thank you for sharing in the mad adventure that has been this year-long gag... which unexpectedly turned into something amazing. Thank you for being the Liv to my Helen.

Time to come clean I guess 😆😆

A little over a year ago @meluisart and I discovered that the @liv-chenka and @helen-sinclair handles were still available soo... we had to jump at the chance and decided to turn them into role-playing blogs. It's taken some deception and I can't believe we actually got away with it 🤣🤣

A year later, in line with the Stranded time line, it feels like the right time to conclude the adventure.

It's been a blast! Had a lot of fun with this @morbidjazz I'm still waiting for the write up of that adventure we did 🤔🤣

We'll keep the blogs up to look back on of course. Essentially, this is the Stranded we should have had!

If ever there were a spring day so perfect, so uplifted by a warm intermittent breeze that it made you want to throw open all the windows in the house and unlatch the door to the canary’s cage, indeed, rip the little door from its jamb, a day when the cool brick paths and the garden bursting with peonies seemed so etched in sunlight that you felt like taking a hammer to the glass paperweight on the living room end table, releasing the inhabitants from their snow-covered cottage so they could walk out, holding hands and squinting into this larger dome of blue and white, well, today is just that kind of day.
