And that’s why there are sad watery eyes in sight of all the magic. Some magic in us can’t be shared no matter how much we try, and not through stories or actions. Sometimes in this crumbling world our magic is only our own, only for our eyes to see. Not for strangers or bystanders, sadly not for friends and loved ones. So we walk on dark broken streets with lit up eyes, with magic we can’t share, with magic we can’t use even for the act of saving. Only with magic for self use.
