Gooseworx confirmed you can use any pronouns on Jax!! I’ll just use whatever pronouns on them depending on the context.

Like for example, if I’m reading a comic and Jax is portrayed as male, im gonna think of him as male. Or comment about him using he/him pronouns.

If I’m reading a comic and Jax is portrayed as female, im gonna think of her as female. Or comment about her using she/her pronouns.

TADC episode 9 spoilers. (My trans Jax fanfic situation)

Im currently working on a TADC fanfic where everyone gets out of the circus and they meet up blah blah.

Thats not the issue.

In this fanfic, Im writing Jax as a transmasc.

It is important to the plot and if I made Jax transfem, it wouldn’t work.

I started writing the fanfic almost a month before TADC episode nine trailer was even announced.

We all know Jax is transfem, but I don’t want to drop the fic.

The fanfic is a completely different universe, not even following the same time period as the actual show. (Show is set in 2017, but I changed it to 2026 and kept their ages. I also changed the time they entered the circus.)

What do I do?

I recently made a post saying I disliked transfem Jax because of all the people saying it’s canon.

I did my research and realized what I said was transphobic.

I realized I hurt people in my own community (as I am under the trans umbrella myself.)

I am sorry to all the trans people i harmed. I should’ve done my research before posting about the topic. My post was ignorant.

I am very sorry. I will do better in the future.
