I made this s couple of days ago, it is inspired by "I forgot about the starts" by laeRtnsievol on ao3

in both atla and avatar aang, when accepting the loss of the air nomads the first face aang sees is katara's. so i had to combine the two scenes, and besides the very beginning they line up perfectly.

and tagah also represents cosmic energy, so aang once again chose katara over it lol. i'm obsessed with the colors used in the movie. even when arguing with katara, they're surrounded by green, the color of the 4th chakra. love, blocked by grief. during this argument flashes of purple only hit aang and tagah, showing how tagah is influencing aang

and in this scene he's shown quite literally turning his back on his earthly attachments (the gaang). the movie just reinforces what we're told in the og, that abandoning earthly attachments is not good for the avatar

i theorized that the movie intentionally had phsyical manifestations of the chakras (in this case, the clouds are what represents the 4th), and i'll probably make a full post sharing my thoughts on the others later on
