Kookmin University is located in north of Seoul surrounded by Bukak mountains. Although the school does not seem to be huge, the atmosphere is very relaxing.

Dasan Ecological Park located in Paldangho Lake, Namyangju is less than an hour away from Seoul. The region is also called "Head of two streams" because the Han river divides into two streams.

Galleria Department Store located in Apgujeong is a luxurious department store and a landmark of the area. Leading the trend, some of the floors have turned into multi designer’s floors. Also enjoy the night view from outside.

The border of South Korea n North Korea lies only 1hour from Seoul. As I have worked at the border as an infantry, I hope the unification of two countries are not far away and one day I can take a train all the way to Western Europe from Seoul. Pce

Boontheshop, a luxury multi brands department store is now open in Chungdam. Both interior and visual merchandising were done by famous foreign artists. Men and women stores are separate.

There are “Pocha” which are old-style Korean bars in front of Yongsan stn. Soju sure tastes good in this atmosphere.

Ansung Farmland is located in Ansung which takes about 1.5 hour from Seoul. The farm has corns, stocks, and huge grass field where families can ride horses and feed animals.

The Lotte World Tower and Mall is under construction as an extension leisure theme to the The Lotte World amusement park. The Seokchon lake has a trail about 2.5km long for a jog/walk course.

Imjingak is located at the border of South Korea and takes about 1 hour from Seoul. North Korea is visible with bare eyes. There is a park that is designed to wish a peace between the two countries.

Deoksugung was originally built as a residence for Prince Wolsan, the elder brother of King Seongjong. After all other palace buildings were destroyed by fire during the Japanese invasion in 1592, King Seongjo established a temporary residence here. King Gwanghaegun, who succeeded King Seongjo, named the palace Gyeongungung in 1611. King Injo held a coronation ceremony in Jeukjodang Hall in 1623. It was here in 1897 that King Gojong proclaimed to the nation and the world the establishment of the “Great Han Empire”. The palace was renamed Deoksugung in 1907 when Emperor Sunjong ascended the throne, and it has been known by that name since then.
