i remember i wrote a post about actually becoming the academic you want to be. i was probably 14 or 15 years old and told the 4k+ people who reblogged to “just live the aesthetic.” someone commented (i deleted it back then) “well maybe try working in an academic institution and see if you like it then lol” almost 20 year old me IS working in an academic institution. and im living my aesthetic. and i love it. joke’s on you, random commenter. joke’s on you.
