Gratitude
It’s Thanksgiving weekend in Canada and of course “being grateful” comes up a lot. It’s strange to think that some people may only stop and be thankful for what they have when reminded by a holiday like this. One of the number one ways that you can improve your happiness in life is to show gratitude on a daily basis. It’s not a difficult thing to do but the effects are far-reaching. Taking a moment each day to take stock of what you are grateful for and putting that thought out into the Universe will attract more things into your life to be thankful for. For example, if you’re looking for a new job, take time to think about your current or past jobs- what have you learned from them? Regardless of the experience being overall positive or negative, can you be thankful that you had the experience? Showing gratitude for each moment in your life that has brought you to where you are is the ultimate wake-up call for the Universe to provide greatness for you. If you are grateful for what you have….then you deserve MORE! The world wants to give you abundance and happiness, so open your mind to that idea and let it flow through you. If you keep a journal, making a little list each day or even once a week of anything that happened that you are grateful for is the perfect way to practice this. It doesn’t have to be long or in-depth, because being grateful for the little things in life is just as important as the big ones. One day you might be thankful that you got a new car, but maybe the next day you’re just thankful that traffic was good on your way home from work. It doesn’t matter WHAT you are thankful for, but the fact that you take the time to recognize it brings a beautiful energy into your soul. I wish you all an amazing weekend filled with love, light, and gratitude!

Amethyst
“Amethyst is the purple variety of quartz crystal composed of silicon dioxide with traces of iron. In ancient times amethyst was thought to reduce the effects of alcohol because of its similarity in colour to red wine. It is thought to dispel negativity and create a peaceful environment.”
Geodes
“A geode is any stone that is hollow with some sort of mineral or crystal on the inside. A geode with a hollow cavity is one of nature’s most spectacular works of art. No two geodes will look exactly alike and until opened, it is a mystery as to what is inside. Cutting and polishing the geode is an 18-hour job as geodes are very hard stones and are difficult to cut and polish. Geodes may be found in the Northwest Territories of Canada as well as several other locations worldwide.
Geodes are believed to have been formed millions of years ago during volcanic eruptions. The volcanic lava flows left cavities filled with gas. As the flows cooled, these cavities allowed for mineral bearing solutions to enter and the combinations of these solutions along with heat, pressure and millions of years allowed the geode to form. Whatever minerals were present in the solutions determined what type of minerals and colours would form on the inside. Geodes will resemble a potato on the outside, the stone must then be cut to see the beautiful crystals and colours inside.
Legends ascribe various potent powers to the geode. It was believed that the geode may increase physical strength and shield on against evil visions. It was also believed that the geode was a good luck charm and a mystical aphrodisiac.”
Sometimes this time of year feels like a fresh start. Make sure that everything you do is with intention. No more idle living. Find out what makes you happy and go after MORE of that. There is an abundance of bliss in this world- it's not for a select few. We all can have peace and happiness. Make choices based on what your heart says. If you're ever struggling, take time to look deep inside yourself. Choose the option that sets your soul on fire... Even if it means a more difficult choice. Something magical happens always happens when we follow our hearts. Koko xx
Vegan Omelette for Drop Dead Recipes
I tried out a few items from So Delicious’ Dairy-Free range of ice creams and whipped creams. They are pretty incredible and now come in a cashew-based range if you aren’t into soy or coconut. I highly recommend the Sea Salted Caramel Cluster flavour!
Full Review
Souls that are filled with pure light are the most feared. Because they extract truths wherever they manage to land; breaking down the construction of realities that were built from falsehood. You know the feeling after being in darkness for so long… light always hurts the eyes.

“Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under the trees on a Summer’s day, listening to the murmur of water or watching the clouds float across the blue sky is by no means a waste of time.” (at Garibaldi Lake)

Vegan PB filled dark chocolate hearts! I loved Reeses peanut butter cups when I ate dairy, but I figured a Vegan alternative would be easy to make!!
Ingredients: 150g Dark Chocolate (make sure it doesn’t contain dairy) ¼ Cup Smooth Peanut butter.
Method: 1. Melt 100g of the chocolate in a small bowl. 2. Spoon into moulds (I used a silicone ice tray), making sure the chocolate is spread on the sides. 3. Freeze for 10 minutes or until solid. 4. Spoon just under a teaspoon of peanut butter into each of the chocolate shells. 5. Melt the remaining 50g of chocolate. 6. Spoon the melted chocolate over the peanut butter to seal the chocolate mould. 7. Freeze for 30 minutes until completely solid. 8. Pop out of the moulds and keep chilled!
You can temper the chocolate in a Bain-Marie if you want to give it a glossy finish- my temperature probe is broken so I didn’t bother this time!
Enjoy! xo
