ANIMALS AS LEADERS - Arithmophobia
wednesday
They asked why I hide, why I shield my eyes. Why I can’t seem to live life like everybody else. All I could do was walk away, cause I didn’t have the heart to tell them. If you’ve seen what I’ve seen. If you’ve felt what I’ve felt. You would hide too. If you’ve met the beast, you know fear. Cover the windows, turn out the lights. It’s best to not come out. It’ll all be over before you know it.

It‘s still there and there are times when I can feel it lurking. It’s the chime of the old clock or the pendulum effect where echoes of past hurt, and wrongs still ring. Lingering. At times ringing louder, and the fear of the full swing of past demons returning.

I refuse. I refuse to let those feelings wrap me in their dirty hands because I know they are temporary.

I love birds. I will forever and always love them. I read a study that stated that those who did not grow up immersed in nature, are missing a significant component in who they are. That does not mean that they are bad people but they lack the understanding of nature’s intrinsic worth and the role it plays on all aspects of our lives.
This is a barren wasteland A lonely place Where inspiration goes to die Rescue the beauty that's left Restore the character that's long since gone Because these colors must never fade This beat must carry on We will fight to save this We will fight to keep it alive This is a cause worth fighting for We will rescue & restore We will fight to save this We will fight to keep it alive This is a cause worth fighting for We will rescue & restore
