Being thankful to the Universe for all the good in your life, even when things are going wrong, can help you through the hard times and bring more abundance and joy to your world. There is always something to be grateful for, even on the darkest days. Find that thing and thank the Universe for it. What you focus on will be attracted to you -- focus on the good!

Hey, friends. I really fucked up. I accidentally deleted a product listing from Amazon, my best selling product, and lost all my search engine ranking when I had to re-add it. Amazon will not or can not restore it. Either way, I’m fucked. This is like a quarter of my income GONE in one small stupid mistake.

If anyone feels comfortable reblogging this link to help get my search engine ranking back, I would really appreciate it. Don’t feel obligated, I know this is weird, but I’m pretty desperate right now.

Gratitude Journal Wednesday June 15th 2016

Having gratitude and expressing gratitude are very different. How did you express your gratitude today? How did it make you feel?

I expressed my gratitude today verbally with thank you’s and have a good day. I used my face to smile at people. I made W a nice dinner after we came home from the gym. He loved it so much. Doing all of those things just to thank others and spread happiness brought joy to me and I ended up having a really wonderful day. All because I spent my energy giving to others today and I was rewarded with joy and light. Today was a really really good day. I’m definitely going to work more on expressing gratitude to others; I think that’s the next step in my journey towards being a more grateful person. What a lovely day.

Gratitude Journal Sunday June 12th 2016

What choices have you made in the last year that you are grateful for?

Easy.

1. Changing careers from acting to primary education

2. Finally telling my family the secret I had been swallowing for 13 years; despite the negative repercussions

3. Getting my osteotomy

Without these choices I would not be the strong, loving, confident, warrior that I am today. It took a lot of bravery to make all three of those choices. They were all scary and required a huge leap. But it allowed me to cross the other side and leave all of the negativity behind me. It allowed me to look forward without constantly feeling like I was dragging my history behind me. It opened up my true passion with allowed my inner light to begin to shine. 

I am happy. The last year has been a trying one, but I don’t have any regret. Everything I did, I did for the betterment of my life; mentally, physically, emotionally. For me.

Gratitude Journal Friday June 10th 2016

What can you do today to cultivate gratefulness within yourself?

I got to spend the entire day with my little T-K students. It was a tough and long day but instead of thinking about all of the bad parts or things that could have gone better, I think about what was successful. I think about what I did right, moments I loved, how I was as a teacher and disciplinarian. I think to cultivate more gratefulness I need to turn my attention towards the positive happenings in life and not get stuck on the bad or what could have been. I still need to acknowledge it but I could do so much better at looking up at what is good instead of down and kicking myself. 

I’m a good teacher. And I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to spend days like today with little geniuses who want to play and learn and look up to you to teach and protect them.

Gratitude Journal Saturday June 11th 2016

Were you complimented today? How did you receive the compliment?

I was complimented today! It was a friend of ours; the four of us were going out to dinner together and she complimented me on my weight-loss and my new haircut. It made me feel good that my weight-loss is noticeable to others because I forget sometimes and I don’t see myself clearly; so it’s refreshing to have someone else reaffirm my success and hard work. 

I received the compliment with a smile and a thank you; we talked more about my hair and how much I love it short. 

It was a good experience. And looking back I can see how far I’ve come in learning to graciously accept compliments from others and even further in believing those compliments.

Thankful Thursday I barely slept last night so I took the day off today. I’m grateful I have sick time to cover my hours so I can stay home and not worry. It has been hot and dry lately but it rained last night and it’s cool/ cloudy today and I am loving it. Grateful for Oregon spring weather. ☔🌼♡
